Mac Users Rejoice! “Left 4 Dead 2″ Coming to Macs

Mac users: here’s the time to rejoice! When I used to have a Mac, I share the disheartening feeling that most Mac users (and gamers) have felt. So I sold my Mac and stuck to PC. However, Kotaku has just recently announced that their games “Left 4 Dead 2″, “Team Fortress 2″, “Counter-Strike”, “Portal” and “Half-Life” series are coming to Mac, along with the Steam software! The revolution certainly starts now.

President of Valve, Gabe Newall said, “As we transition from entertainment as a product to entertainment as a service, customers and developers need open, high-quality Internet clients. The Mac is a great platform for entertainment services.”

Cortney Zamm of TheFlickCast.com wrote, “This announcement has been rumored for awhile, as Mac-specific graphics were discovered in the beta files for the new Steam service last month. Valve dropped some serious hints later, with the release of some images of Valve games integrated with some familiar Mac themes.”

The new Steam Play feature will also allow gamers who bought a game on Steam for PC to download and play it for Mac with absolutely no extra charge! Now I wonder if I should have kept that Mac Book.
