Friday marks the release of a new mutation, versus survival! Hopefully this mutation will spruce up the survival aspect of the game. Survival, at least up to today, is the least played game type in Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2.
Versus survival works similarly to scavenge mode. The first team sets the time, while the second team tries to beat it. The teams alternate until one team fails to beat the other’s time, so there’s the potential for these matches to outlast some versus games.
