After patiently waiting for that one moment that was going to go down on SpikeTV, here we are. Now that the word is out, Valve has finally announced the very latest DLC for “Left 4 Dead” and “Left 4 Dead 2″. Dubbed “The Sacrifice”, fans will understand the back story on what happened to one of the original four survivors who died. The events were also set before “The Passing.”
Valve is keeping ‘em coming with more “Left 4 Dead 2″ DLCs after this one.
Jim Sterling of Destructoid.com via GTTV wrote, “The Sacrifice will start Francis, Zoey, Bill and Louis, even if you play it via Left 4 Dead 2. Valve is not only giving L4D2 players a chance to play as the original survivors without loading the original, it’s also throwing the entire No Mercy campaign into the DLC, just for good measure”
This is your chance to dictate the story line by choosing who dies instead of Valve’s choice by downloading “The Sacrifice.” While a release date for the DLC has not yet been officially confirmed, fans can download this for free on PC and Mac.
