P4 2.8ghz and Radeon 9800xt?

i think i can piece together this computer if I buy a 8800gt for another computer cuz it has a 42" hdtv as a monitor. how well do you think it will run?

should be fine if the TV is a 720p HDtv but i would get a new CPU for anything more

I have a very similar setup (a 2 GHz dual-core and 8800GTX) and it works great in 720p. If you have more than, say, 2.5 GB of memory, you'll be fine.

lol oh im sorry. first of all, its a pentium 4 2.8ghz. that's like half the power of your dual core. also, it's the ati 9800xt, not the nvidia 9800xt lol i should have been clear.

with this cpu ur gpu will be useless not much of the use because ur cpu wont handle it
