Well i did read and listened the extras on left 4 dead and as the lack of story is kinda sad still, i heard there that the cutscenes have been removed because the players don't wanted to watch cutscenes but play the game. Ok i can understand that but the cutscenes like the stats on the end of the campaigns can be something skipeable then it wouldnt be a problem to anyone.
About the connection between campaigns that got removed (other thing that dissapointed me)
i heard on the comments it was because people felt frustrated that their rescue vehicle would fail after so much effort... Now seriously this is a Horror game...Shit happens! it gotta be like that, but again the skipeable cutscenes are the solution what the eyes don't see the heart don't feel right? And it's not like all vehicles must fail... The helicopter is ok the guy was infected, but the boat can run out of gas and the survivors end up in dead air wanting to get as far as possible from the infection right...
Those are simple solutions for both sides of the players.

i see what your getting at. a skipable cutscene at the beging of campaigns would be nice. it wouldnt detract from the game play. doubt its gunna happen though

I reckon endings should be a min long and possibly have the credits running at the side like Pixar do at the end of the films, showing the deaths as outakes would be funny too :D

and Intros to campaigns about 1 min aswell just to show how they ended up there.

in the end would also be cool still skipeable like the chopper crashing like it used to be.. all skipeable.. but if 3 are alive then only 3 on the chopper flying while it happens giving chances to different and story telling dialogues.
