Yeah, bumping ongoing topics doesn't hurt anyone and is usually better then making a new topic about the same thing. So long as they're bumped with something relevant and not just a one word post like. &quot;Cool&quot; or &quot;Thats_crap.&quot;

But people usually end up getting told off by other people for bumping or making unneeded topics either way... Which often creates unneeded spam in otherwise good topics. So theres not much difference between the two options.

My post about the topic being worthless wasn't to offend anyone. The reason its stupid is that.

A. The topics been done, TWICE before this I believe...Including my own.
B. The contents of this particular topic could have been posted in my own, along with everyone elses who cared to post.

Therefore, pointless. Bringing up old topics not only keeps the forum clean, but it does work. I know, I do it to my own topics... People don't always reply, but hell, atleast I don't have to make a topic for every a new trailer for a game comes out. And if its MGS4, and you guys stuck with that attitude, come October or so, this forum might as well be called MGS411...

I thought it appropriate to bring up this dead topic since MGS4 was released recently. And I have it. And it is amazing in every aspect except Snake can't jump.

just finished mgs4. very unique, cinematic gameplay, already feel like playing again.. i never played 1-3 so a bit of the story was confusing, but it mostly pieced together nicely.

the only thing that i hated was some of the things in the game that killed the immersion a little. such as npcs saying &quot;press the x button on your sixaxis controller, snake!&quot; or the retarded cutscenes that boast about the playstation3... that was a weak move. though they're few and far apart so not too bad i guess.

i loved how in the first one they said to lay down the controller at one part and it moved across the floor-it was just the controller rumble.(if you were stupid you would be amazed)

I played MP, the levels kind of suck...

By that I meant &quot;CQC Level 3&quot;... Or whatever, anyway, I just CQC all the time, got my 10 hours in, unlocked the Plug... thingum and left.

It's fun, but fooling with NPC's with gadgets is also fun.

I can verify the 'voice' - It's from MGS, a quote from liquid.

I was playing through Act 2, in my opinion, the most action packed... And I was wondering why Snake kept puking, I think I almost overdosed on Syringe's and other items to figure out why...

(Oh yeah, he vomits too... Too bad he doesn't choke and die with the FaceCamo on, now that would've been an Easter Egg)

I'm replaying again to get Tranq kills/take pictures of the Beauty bosses. It's damn funny. If you haven't tried already, take out your iPod in the 'white room' and play the overly-Japanese song which I cant remember atm, and they'll start dancing!

I love this game.

I'm on Act 4 again right now, very nostalgic... It goes good with certain tunes in the iPod when fighting Crying Wolf.

I took down Crying Wolf my second time without the Solid Eye, just so I could listen to Calling To the Night while I was playing...

Just beat it. Final boss was the best fight ever. MGO kinda sucks though.

Yeah... It's not great, getting into the game is just a clusterfuck of registration and whatnot... But once in, it's not too bad. I like it as much as Portable Ops (my favorite PSP game).

Took me 2 play through's to realize I should just save BEFORE the boss fight! I like replaying, it's fucking awesome. So dramatic, and the music is nice too.

Btw, anyone know what track it is on the OST, or maybe even the iPod. (The song that plays during the Liquid vs. Solid pre-fight cutscene)

SPOILERS... Sorta

This game was like watching an old guy getting beatin bloody and slowly dieing for 20 hours.

It's like 19 hours into the game the developers said, hm maybe we should very this up a little. As a result the rest of the game involved two old guys beatin each other bloody and slowly dieing together.

The end brought it up a noch by adding another old guy, although not beatin bloody, who is very slowly dieing talking with the original very slowly dieing old guy while beating up a paralyzed old slowly dieing guy.

So obviously, I enjoyed this game.

However, WTF was with the half screen cut scenes with the cinematics playing outside your focus. This just pissed me off. Perhaps the most badass part of the game and you can't even watch the damn thing because you're too busy coughing up dust and shratnel.

Seriously, did I miss some secret Press L1 to become invulnerable for 3 minutes clue? Did anyone at all appreciate this?

There's two, the rapid triangle button press part as well.

Wasn't as bad, but watching the top screen while half paying attention to the bottom felt like reading a book and suddenly realizing that you'd zoned out for half a page and couldn't remember anything you'd read.

Like you're running through the motions but nothing is registering.
