Another boomer buff idea? >.<

Well I saw someone else post one and while I suppose I could have posted this in there it was only slightly relevant because they both do with changing or adding something to the boomer.

My friend once had a great idea, in my mind, for something to add to the boomer to add some flavor to his all too repetitious &quot;pop around the corner and get shot&quot; lifestyle.

What if the boomer had an alternate attack where he could puke on the ground and leave a puke puddle as a trap? It wouldn't be a full blown horde called but enough to make you not wanna walk through it.

Now to make it not so awesome here are some limits and what not that I have thought of to balance it out:

-Not a full blow horde attack upon walking in it.
-Only the first person to walk in it gets effected.
-It does not effect their sight (duh).
-Boomer can only do it once per lifetime.
-Doesn't stay forever (30 seconds maybe?).
-It can be burnt away with a molotov.

When I brought it up to someone in game they really didn't like the idea and were like &quot;then we would have to constantly be aware of where we were walking!!!!11!one&quot;

OMG REALLY?! I think that would be great actually. You watch the rooftops for hunters and you watch the ground for puke.

Add your comments and suggestions, this is just an idea to spice up the boomer I suppose and it is not needed. I really do not think anything is wrong with the boomer as it is. Credit for the main idea goes to vwgreen77

I think it has to be explosive, throw a Molotov at it and boom! Pipe bombsize explosion! I think it should be applied to surviors who have vomited on. You stagger blinded in to a fire and kablooie! Your sent sky high insta kill! It would be silly but funny as fuck.

Yeah it is by far a long shot for steam even considering it but I still like what it stands for and maybe even a mod yeah.

i would still use the normal puke, u have a better chance of getting all 4 and not just 1 and u get a full horde. plus if u WALK on vomit it isnt going to get in your eyes

Yes you have a better chance for getting them all if you puke and you can still do that but the alternate attack could setup a trap and once they walk into it that is your opening for your team, and the boomer included.

Perhaps walking into the trap wouldn't cue the horde music either? More of a penalty for not noticing you even walked through it.

I would say yes because the puke puddle, while calling a horde, is way less effective and perhaps that would make even the most strategy minded people not use it.

A balance could be found though. Maybe it would reset his puke countdown for another twenty seconds so he could not puke for a large amount of time that the puddle would be up. However if he was smart enough to plan it the right distance away they would walk in it after twenty seconds of being on the ground (it only lasts for thirty) so the boomer could then puke while the puddle horde was still in effect.

Is that confusing? Probably! lol Sorry.

Yeah, that makes sense, and I think it could very well work!

Now, I think the puddle, being weaker, shouldn't call a horde, but maybe the already spawned wandering zombies around the premises, as it is only on their feet.

I disagree! One time that I was against nubs I vomited on them with ONE LIVE 3x! Sure, I always ran to far from them ( after vomiting ) to get into ghost mode and choose a better place to vomit again, still not dying and spawning with lost hp.

Yeah maybe it wouldn't call a horde and just the zombies around them. Actually that is a great idea. Because if a skilled team saw the puddle perhaps they would walk in it on purpose so they could clear out the surrounding zombies? Yet if you walked in it by accident you wouldn't be prepared to fight them all off.

What I meant by he can only do it once per lifetime means even if he stays alive long enough to technically do it again is that it won't allow him. He can only make one puke puddle for each life.

Maybe not completely stop them but slow them down as if they had 1 health for the duration of a certain amount of time. Stopping them completely would be a little overkill.

Boomer explosion damage should get back or at least make survivor vision get worst for 5 minutes ( NO! Not that much goo that appears when you get vomited, but a little )

There should be baby sized tanks like 5 of them inside a super boomer. When you shoot anywhere but the head the boomer explodes unleashing mini tanks who basically pummel the crap outta survivors.
