Good question. My guess is to make it fair between teams or something, but I really don't know.

Getting back on topic: This always happens to me. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but I'd sure like it to be fixed/readded.

From what I see the horde event only triggers on campaign but never on versus. The only reason people get confused on this is because on versus it's one of the best spots to get boomered, so you often get the horde anyway...

They removed the Crescendo event in that area on Versus. It only works in Campaign mode.

I think it becasue is a unfair disadvantage on the surviours, ever noticed the No Mercy finale looks different...?
