I was just wondering if there's any possible way my laptop can run Left 4 Dead if its overclocked, I know the risks, I'm willing to take them.

Specs: Nvida quadro fx go 700, Intel centrino 1.7ghz @ 2.55ghz, 1.5gbs of ram.

I got a new computer on the way, so I don't care if something goes wrong, if its even possible to do lol.

I got a dell precision M60, I think my laptop came out in 2004..or 2005.. At that time it was top of the line, so it must have been a new video card then, so I'm guessing around 2004 or 2005 it came out. So it must be 4-5 years old.

I think the minimum requirements is a Nvidia 6800... how much does that quadro compare to that?

It's got 128Vram, I can run css, and Garrysmod on high, css on office gets around 60-100 frames.

Recommended for l4d is 256... if you got a new computer on the way, why not just try it out? If the laptop sucks at it, at least the desktop might be able to handle it

Yeah, I bought left 4 dead while the weekend 50% was on, the graphics where all messed up, might not have my new computer for like a month or 2, so I wanted to see if my laptop had a chance with overclocking.

My new computer should get the job done good althlon x2 3.0ghz, 4 gigs of ram, GTX 295.

Well, my 9600 gt plays very high at 20-30 fps, so 295... would be quite, quite, quite nice.

now that would be crazy, it would pretty much be a quad, and that would blow my mind, until there's only this one part of me left that I would know to blow my mind again by seeing 2 295's together...

LOL 2xGTX295's can run L4D at over 140FPS with 8xaa and max AF at 1920x1200 for most people a GTX260 or HD4870 is really all you need also who has 500$ to buy a GTX295.
