Rainbow Six: Vegas

I recently but Rainbow Six Vegas. I am stuck because my tactical skills aren't the greatest. Does anyone have any tips?

1. Stay in cover.
2. Never blind fire unless they are less then a foot away from your position.
3. Pick one assault rifle, and one special weapon, like a LMG or sniper rifle.
4. Grenade kill bad man. Use them to clear out a suspicious room.
5. Rely on your team mates. They save my ass on countless occasions

See, I bet you would have gotten some responses with the current title instead of just calling it "RSV".

Maybe somebody actually has something to say about that game? Never played it myself.

I played the 360 version of RSV 1 & 2.... Didn't really like it.....

Lol, didnt see this thread. Ive got the 360 version and its a rather good game both RSV/2 were. You can use your team as a clutch, let them deal with most of the people first and then you run in after them and pick off whomever theyre still fighting. Is really the best tip I can think off. Oh and dont forget your special nades, you can order you team to throw them and bots are kinda dumb when it comes to smoke, lol.

Um, online tips uh, it really depends on your playing style. Some people wear less armor to move quicker while others prefer more armor but theyre obviously easier targets since theyre slower. You really need to experiment with what suits you best. Armor wise as well as weapon wise. You also unlock more stuff as you gain ranks. I generally use either a medium or heavy combination of armors because my connection is ghey so I need the extra padding before bullets register. Like they said above, stay in cover as much as possible and try to stay with your team. Some people have a hard time shooting out of cover while moving, so try and do that as much as possible right from the get go so you have an idea of how it feels. Its an effective strategy almost everyone uses. Oh and the FAMAS and P90 are accurate enough with burst fire for med to long range fights while moving if you get used to it.

I like them both actually. Too bad the original goes FUBAR on vista. My tips are:

1. Hug cover like your girlfriend
2. HEADSHOT!
3. Always take an assault rifle (G3KA4 is my personal favorite)
4. Take frags/incendiary and smoke/flashbangs
5. Terrorist hunt is the best game-mode online :)
