Color Problems

Every time I play a game, the color red appears orange-ish and green appears yellow-ish, I've tried the settings on my T.V, the AV cables, fiddling with my Xbox, but nothing works, any help?

Either Tint, Gama or TNT makes it look like that and those settings are normally on your TV. You may need to make sure that your cables are hooked up properly and youve got the switch on the cables themselves on either TV or HDTV for the appropriate out put and obviously, make sure youre using the right cables.

Ok I tried it, and the tint seemed to make a difference, but it didnt fix it and I cant seem to find Gamma or TNT


I'm also using the cables my xbox came with and the swith is on HDTV

Oh, make sure you console itself is on HDTV as well then.

yea it is, and it's on 1080p

You may want to try other settings on HD, and see if they look any better. If youre using the correct cables. (The blue, green, red pair) then the only other thing I can think of is there might be something around your TV that may have some sort of magnetic field discoloring it but Ive only had that problem with tube TVs. So Im not sure if it even affects HDTVs like they would older ones.

DUDE you rock so hard!!!!!!!! I changed the HD cables around a little and it worked!!!!!!!!!! Dude Ive been having this problem for so long! I definatly think you should be a mod!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, well thats good that it worked. I dont know if using the wrong cables on the wrong settings would negatively effect your HDTV but its better that you caught it now than later. Just make sure youve got everything hooked on properly and where it should go, lol.
