I am somewhat thankful of the patches, it made everything better, and improved gameplay. But the only thing it did not do was tell the general population what the update added and fixed.

I was infected today and the survivors spent a good 15 minutes trying to break down the NM3 door. Laughs were had with my team, but one of my team members did not even know it was patched... Or what the patch even did other then infected hud and drag damage.

Also a few days after the patch I had to argue with a preteen (I am guessing) about certain glitches that were fixed. He tried to block things, but saw they would not move, and became frustrated because he could not block the survivors. And when it was our turn for NM3, he stayed bashing the door for a good 5 minutes while my team yelled at him saying it was fixed, but he denyed it all, and when we started up the lift he stayed there bashing to door, we had to rush ahead and press the button to save him from getting killed.

So I still wonder how many xbox players are oblivious to most of the patch's effects. Since it ruins the game when a player takes his time to try to do a pointless task.

So what I am saying is that valve needs to make a "Daily post" or something on the main menu to show latest updates so that people don't waste their time glitching and ruining their team.

I'm sure there would be some sort of text that says what is in it, just like the PC version. The problem is no one CBF to look at it.

Nothing at all, it just had a loading bar when we started up the game for the first time before the patch, and then it took me to the main menu. Told me nothing at all, the only way I know these things is because I come to this site.

I found this out also because once in a random match my team broke it down from the inside because none of them knew there was a button, I told them there was a button after the fact, and they were all dumb shits, and I was kicked... I was kinda glad to be kicked after that though...

Edit: I was stuck in the middle of the warehouse when this transpired, so I am not sure if they really broke it down, but it sounded like they did...

you have to remember that most XBL players are pre-pubescent males. Usually from the ages of 2-12. And I know from experience that these little kids will use every glitch/hack possible to "own you noobs". Even if more experienced players tell them it doesn't work.

You can break it down from the outside, I tested it earlier and it is in fact not patched.

Humm... Well they spent a long time on it and still it did not go down, and went up the lift... So I assumed it was patched, and I have never seen anyone break it down after the patch...

Maybe they put way more health on the door? Since I am guessing it still exists... Humm... Needs investigation.

im gonna make so many people confused and gossiping till i die but....

its not fixed but i find it MUCH longer to bash the door down....
making me assume people would stop doing it people are starting to become aware of the glitch's survival but every time they tried got raped preventing them from trying it out in thh=e rematch

Tanks can break it down. On the PC version, before we hit the elevator, a tank charged at us through the door. It punched it down and after we killed it we thanked that tank for breaking it since we were able to walk right through. So tanks can hit it in one hit, as can other infected with more hits. It could be that just infected can break it down, like the room on the no mercy finale.

Didn't they just make the melee do less damage => takes more hits to destroy the door?

I kept warning cheaterbitches that the glitches would be fixed soon, but they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about...

It definitely takes longer to knock the door down. Seeing as that's the case, they either intentionally made it still possible or they just failed at making it impossible.

I'd think they probably left it possible but wanted it to be much harder and perhaps it'll phase itself out due to the pointless difficulty.

Frankly, most crescendo events aren't nearly as difficult as I think they should be anyway.

Oh well, people will figure it out eventually. I wouldn't really saw 360 users 'never learn' though, just that through steam it pretty much slaps you in the face and tells you whats going on.
If 360 had a feature that explained what exactly is going into the patch you're about to download, it would work a bit better.

you can open the door from the inside. and the door can be broken down STILL but it takes FOREVER to do it now. its easier to go around, but you still get mooks that insist on doing it.

The door is indeed breakable, I was playing earlier and I thought it wasnt becuase I was guarding mah team while they bashed at it, It didnt work so we took the lift, after that roundwas over and we were infected the other team tried, now as my team laughed as we would surely pwn ftw because we thought it would not break, AND! They had all four teamamates bashing at it. But then befor we could even come near them, the door just breaks down, now my team is in awes by the door, we didnt know that would happen, but then we just carried on with the match

There are details it's called the internet I'm sure some people on Xbox live have heard of it before they just think they know everything there is to know it even says it on there Gamertag Pro (less than 1'000 gamerscore!) that's all the internet is info and porn...Moseley porn.

And someone with less than 1000 gamerscore cannot be considered a 360 player. Nope. They're... IDK what... a WII player or something. My 6 year old has like 4 or 5k gamerscore.

This man speaks truth; had a Versus game last night where they broke it down, so I guess you're wrong, OP. Still, I agree that we need some kind of news bar or something, even if it was a little thing like the banner above the main menu on Battlefield: Bad Company.

Should have let the guy die outside the door. Of course you would all be paying for his stupidity when the rest of you are overrun later on in the match, but it's a price worth paying to punish foolishness.

When did the PS3 ever had that? The only thing I can recall is. It telling you to update and then that little messenger thing with news on the side but that doesnt always tell you about updates. It generally tells you about games coming out or something.

When you buy a new game you have to update to new version and when you click accept it tells you what the update does most people normally just scroll through it

Pics or it never happened. I know it tells you version numbers and how big the update will be but the last time I had a PS3. Thats all the updates said. It never said anything specific as to what the updates were patching.

Just today there were 2 hunters hitting the witch when we were near it hoping it would go off, and I walked up to the witch and crowned her, and they both literally stood there like "wtf...." and did nothing, just stood still for a second. Then I shot both of them with my auto shotty. 3 of the easiest kills I have ever had.That deserves to be a cartoon.
