My computer is infected with rap.

Well I have no idea as to why this is happening, but for some reason, my computer appears to be picking up radio signals. All day, my computer has been playing non-stop rap songs on some rap station and it's beginning to drive me insane. I'm sure it's not a virus (I have run many scans) and I have no idea why this is happening or how to stop it. Please help?

Funny, same thing happened to me the other day, except with metal.

It escalated into a gnarly-ass infection and killed my computer last night. Even with multiple scans, nothing showed up. You gon' get raped.

If your computer would be playing Metal instead of Rap, I'd buy it from you, because it would seem, that your compu is full of awesome... :D

EDIT: Oh... I didn't read all the replies before I posted, but now that I did... Danger's compu died of too much awesomeness.

And oh... check all the running processes with ctrl-alt-del and first make sure that all the processes being run by your user are legit. After that check all those, which are run by system. You might want to check also if any of the processes are like winamp or any other music player, that can connect to streaming media service.

And before you do that, make sure, that the music is coming from the internet by physically disconnecting your cable for 5 minutes or so and seeing if the music still continues. If not, then I'd start looking from your hard-drive, that where the music is stored.

If nothing from above helps you, then the last suggestion is to format c and install windows again. I wouldn't risk some rap ruining my shit. :D (No offence Dre, but I like good R&B and Rap, but I haven't found any... ever)

Do you use any kind of wireless... well, anything? because most wireless devices operate in a 2.4GHz or 5GHz range, and if nothing around you is wireless, receiving any kind of radio signal is slightly impossible.

How loud is the music? Is it audible in detail or just in the way, way off distance?

Can you affect the volume with your computer's volume adjuster?

When you mute anything in the audio settings does the music stop?

Do you get the same problem when wearing a headset?

Have you tried moving your speakers around or are they fixed to your monitor?

It's no way your wireless because of the frequency (same as a microwave 2.4Ghz), so it needs to be something that is able to pick up FM / AM or even SW but I can't see any self respecting rap artist or pirate radio station broadcasting on SW!!!
