ALRIGHT. THose of you on the RE5 thread, I'm sorry for ranting there. Here's a new one: I recovered my gamertag at a friend's house, for he has LIVE, and I don't. Since I was there last (2 months ago) I gained 3000 gamerscore or so. When I recovered it, it disappeared... And has not come back. Why? How do I get it back? Please help!

yeah, you need to go online to register your gamerscore, happened to a friend of mine, who also has no live.
I would suggest next time taking your hard drive with you to your friend's establishment, so you may be able to officially register it beforehand.
I'm sure if the memory relates to said achievements you might be able to bitch to MS, but I can't see it doing much.
EDIT: one of my friends had quite a few enchanted arms achievements while offline, and when he lost them he was pretty pissed. the people on the Xbox.com forums advised him to phone into... customer service, I think.
if you check at xbox.com they will probably have a place for you to phone to.

By register, I mean going online, with your achievements, is basically saying to Microsoft, "yes, I do, in fact, have these achievements".
as long as you go online with your achievements, your gamertag will be verified that you have them.
my edit would probably be the best way to go.

but it wouldn't let me go online. It said I had to recover my gamertag...

yes, because you should have taken your hard drive over, I was just saying that to advise you to do so next time.

I'll look on the Xbox.com forums, and see if I can find a way for you to regain your gamerscore back, I know firsthand that putting all that work in for nothing is frustrating.

Yeah, if u didn't find it yet... don't bother looking. I already regained half of it back or so. Thanks anyways.
