So I order 2100 microsoft points of play.com, for the new CoD 5 maps.
They arrive today, so i enter the code, and it says the points have been added to my account.

So then i go to download the CoD maps, but it says my current balance is still 600 points (which it was before), so the 2100 hasn't registered in my current balance.

I've tried restarting my xbox, entering the code again (says the code is invalid), and i dunno what else to do. Can any1 help please, i might have wasted £17 - i'm soooo pissed off.

if you ordered from a website, it may take a little bit for them to add them to your account, rather than entering it straight on your Xbox

nah i ordered the points to be delivered to my house on a card, and when the card arrived i entered the code straight into my 360.

i rang up microsoft, and they say the servers are being upgraded on xbox live, and there are issues all over the place with transactions and shit. it says it on the website too.

I tried to renew my XBL gold account tonight and is wasn't going through. I called and they said there was system maintenance going on. They didn't tell me how long it was going to last, but they did tell me to try again in an hour (which was weird). Either way it might have been tied to that somehow (though I am in the US). Try calling and giving them your code, it may not have registered right.

You get what you pay for. Ive attempted to play COD4 (to play with a coworker who had didnt have a 360) awhile back when I had a PS3 and it was pretty much garbage compared to the 360 servers. I had constant people quitting, games being dropped, rarely anyone using a mic. It was saddening. Sold that giant paper weight after I played MGS4 and havent regretted it yet.

And I havn't had any problems with the PSN. Tekken, LittleBigPlanet, RE5, Burnout and Army of Two all play without a hitch.

MGS4 played rather well but there is still a considerable difference when youre comparing the online community. Also I was referring to the distinct lack of quality server side when comparing the two versions. In my experience, when I was playing online. There just werent many players that either owned or wanted to use their mics on PSN. Oh, Ive also tried WarHawk online as well and faced the same issues.

Right, right, I forgot. There are many successful FPS games on consoles. So Im not sure what your statement is attempting to imply.
