From all the video's i've seen so far, a few of them have actuly left me wide eye'd, with a slight chill going down my back. I'm just wondering if anyone else had any of those.

For example, i was watching one video, and someone walked out into the street from an ally, and the Infected were climbing up a fence to get the person. Now usualy im just used to game creatures stopping at walls... but i was like.. oh S***! It looked so real, and so awesome, i had to watch it a few more times. I got into it, and i have to say, that scared me a little.

Yeah, I like the way the infected can get anywhere without too much hassle.
Boundaries like fences would normally stop lesser games AI opponents, thats why this game is going to be so random , nowhere is safe!

My first `Oh shit` moment is going to be on Feb 8th , once i get the game!
It`ll be like `Oh shit, its here - there goes my social life`

I don't think I've sworn more in any other game than I did while playing this.

One of the most common ones:

When you find yourself facing a teammate who is trying to take out a zombie or zombies that are between the two of you. People forget that this game is like real life, DON'T FIRE IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR FRIENDS. lol

My favorite:
Our whole team is on a two teired rooftop - two guys up top, me and the other guy on the first tier. I keep on seeing that the guys up top are getting knocked on the ledge over and over and over again. Since things are going pretty easy on the first tier, I decide to go up to the second one to give my guys some help. As I'm headed up there, Chris of TRS says, "Watch out, it gets really tricky up there" and WHAM I'm knocked off the ledge right next to my dangling team mate who I was trying to save before Chris could even finish the sentence.

When i think about horror survival games.. i like to try to get myself as deeply involved in it as possiable. Like for example, when i saw the newer version of Dawn of the dead. After i watched that movie, i thought to myself.. " Wow.. how the heck would i survive that... if that ACTULY did happen? Then i thought, i wonder if they'l make game like that. Now im very happy that they're making L4D. I guess i live for those oh S***! moments.

But other then that, i have another question. As i watched the video's, it seemed like a-lot of ammo that you get. Now i dont play FPS all that much, but did it seem you had to much at the time? ( I mean too much ammo is never a bad thing) But did you find yourself saying.. well theres a new gun there, but i have so much ammo with this gun.. whats the point?

Another noobie question i have.. is that.. how LONG where the maps to that Hospital Senario? Did it feel like, you finished it in 5 minutes, or did you find yourself asking.. How long is this damn thing?

There is quite a bit of ammo distributed throughout each campaign. However, it is still possible and extremely easy to run out of ammo. When I played, I seemed to be the "smartest" player and most conservative with ammo and yet I still ran out once or twice.

As far as map length goes, each campaign runs 45min to an 1.5hrs. Each map is ~15min long and there are 5 maps per campaign. Length will vary based on (1) AI director, (2) difficulty level (3) how good the infected bosses are and (4)how good your team is.

The game seems to move at a good speed, not too fast and not too slow. I was never once bored nor did I ever feel that we just rushed through things.

Thats good, i dont want to be looking at the corner of my screen, and see TONS of extra ammo. I want it to feel like a fight for survival. I want to think about my ammo, and stuff like that, which i've read that you have too. And i'm glad to hear that your not just rushed through, i want it to feel like there's only 4 people, and a city full of infected.. I hope it takes awhile. I mean, it should.

I just can't wait for my chance to play, when it comes out. Then i'll think that i dont have too much ammo lol.

This moment happens every second I'm playing UT99 on max game speed, hardcore style, and with excessive overkill weapons. I have to set the time limit to 2 minutes, otherwise the constant Oh s*** moments every second would be too awesome to handle!
