custom l4d sdk setup problem.

When I try to setup hammer for l4d I can get passed the first step. I go to create mod then I pick create new mod from scratch. after that I enter the information. When I try coping the files it says it has a problem and needs to close. I do not know if not having half Life is a problem or what.

does anyone know how to fix this?

Try re-installing the file...not sure if it will work.

Does the error contain any other information at all? Or does it just say problem need to close?

It just says that it needs to close the program thats it.
