COD4 multiplayer beta!

There was a COD4 multiplayer beta signup thingamajiggy! It's over now! But there will be more! And this is worth doing because COD4 multiplayer kicks ass! I'm so stoked for this game now! And that's my daily limit of exclamation marks.

As usual, Kotaku has all the stuff and the website where the signup took place : URL (http://www.kotaku.com/search/cod/)

Now stare at your screen and keep hitting refresh so you don't miss it when it comes back. Or even better, go to URL (http://charlieoscardelta.com) for the official site and the place where they puts the signup.

It's worth registering as well, since the beta is only for registered users as well as most of the fun articles on the site :/

I was waiting for someone to post something about COD4beta....F-ing pissed me off...so ya know how EVERYONE who signed up for the 24 hour thing got in....so I see that, I tell my friend that (who is not even that big of a COD4 fan as I am) and so he signs up a day later gets it....I try to do it, every FUCKING time after I would type in my GT and email, after clicking submit it was literally REFRESH THE PAGE with the same stuff on it....I tried clickin off then retryin, restartin my computer, I even went to the friend's house that did it, but noooooooooooooooo for me it just refreshes the same page after hitting submit......technology hates me.

If you haven't received your email yet it's to late, not everyone in the 24hr time frame got in, you need to have perfect rep so you don't glitch or hack and they needed to have a reason to get you in, so no that much Americans where chosen, they chose people from alot of different countries.

Thankfully I've already gotten in, but other than the initial first come first serve entries I'm pretty sure everyone gets in. That 24 hour one, yep you're in. It'll just take time. And there will be more chances to enter in the future! That's my understanding at least.

What're you talking about Smid? EVERYONE from the 24 hour time period got in, but they're only releasing tokens in 10,000 waves. That's 30,000 or so out of 70,000 total they've released. That's 40,000 more to go.

No they are only selecting the one's they want into the beta, people with bad rep and overused locations will not get in, they did not state they would let everyone in, it was a rumor started on charlieoscardelta.com forums, it's not the truth, over 600,000 people signed up for the beta and over 80% were in the USA, mostly Americans are getting rejected due to bad rep or overused location, idk how that works but I'm guessing like over 1,000 people in each state? I'm not sure but under 100,000 were let in, if you did not get your email by 12:00pm PST today you were not accepted get over it.

lol yeah I would've tried to do that but he entered it b4 he got his surgery, and he is too damn selfish about his shit so he won't let me borrow his hard drive or anything...I even told em he could borrow bioshock, but nooooooooo.....I think I know why 2...all my friends don't trust me with shit. I'm like a jinx stuff always breaks around me or just goes wrong/ when I use it lol ESPECIALLY electronic stuff..like for instance the submit button thing with the beta.....just a week ago I took my 360 to my friend's house ( my connection sux) and he played my elite (with the HDMI) on his plasma, and I played with his white 360 on a smaller screen, it had his Gears of war in it and I did nothing out of the ordinary, WHADOYAKNOW his GOW disc randomly gets scratched the hell out of when I'm playing it.....so yeah....there r many other things I can't think of right now...

p.s.-I'm also very notorious for reaching over a table or something and tipping over/breaking glasses with liquids in them/or when I'm not looking and turn......HECK one time I poured milk into a glass, put chocolate stuff in, and in the middle of stirring the bottom of the glass busted out for no reason and then my countertops and wood floors were chocolaty :P.......

The reason for the beta was for well ofcourse to test for more bugs but mainly to check how online works when you play with people around the world, ie USA - UK, CAN - AUS, etc. If you don't have a perfect 5 star rep you will get rejected from the beta, they are not randomly picking people in they are examining who deserves to be in, so glitchers, poor sports and such are not wanted and they won't get in.

They changed it at some point so everyone would get in, as a way of apologising to the community for problems or something. So before they did that what Smid said may well have been true, possibly even in the agreement or whatever when downloading/signing up. Seeing as how he got into the beta before the change, that's probably the case.

Then there's this, which suggests his information was based on the contents of his conformation email, which was received before the change in distribution.

Just finished replaying HL2 and EP1 in preparation for EP2. So I'll end up looking for my CoD 3 before 4's release rolls around. Unless I can hold out until the Crysis demo, that's probably going to last me a while.

I finally got to play it last night! I went to my friends house who got it...played for prob 2/12 hours lvl 11 it's pretty easy....my strat is an assault rifle with the added on grenade launcher and juggernaut and either deep penetration last stand....ithink he's coming over 2 my house 2night

I like using the M4, and yea, lvl. 11 only takes about 2 hours cuz that's when I got it. I use the extra bullet damage and last stand. I like last stand cuz it reminds me of L4D. I just wish your teammates could do something before you die, like even a little thing where you acknowledge they'll die and they get points for it or something or maybe even you.

Lol, I do have to say this beta is so fucking sweet. If I didn't play this I'm not sure if I'd get the game, now it's a definete yes. It's SO damn sweet, I just hope they add more stuff to the guns than what is there and what's locked.

It also kinda reminds me of MGS4, the graphics of the characters looks JUST like they do in MGS4 and it makes me wanna get MGS4 so much. Gonna buy a ps3 for that beauty.
