I don't think this will work on Xbox, I don't have one so I'm not sure if the Xbox can use console commands or not.
I searched and didn't see this on here, so if it is a repost I apologize. I have seen a lot of sites that listed the incorrect way to do this and it never worked, but I experimented and found the correct way to do this and it works every time. Some may already know this, some may not, but I thought it would be helpful.
Start a game on single player, on advanced difficulty (that is the set up on versus mode) on the map of your choice, then follow these steps:
1) Open the door or leave the safe area to start the game.
2) Press the "~" key and enter the following codes in order:
sv_cheats 1
director_no_human_zombies 0
sb_all_bot_team 1
sb_stop 1
god 1
3) Press "~" to go back to the game. Now you will have to spawn an infected bot so that you can change to the infected team, or you can wait about 30 seconds for the game to spawn one on its own. Press "~" again and enter the following code:
z_spawn X (X represents the infected of your choice, if you want to spawn a Hunter enter it as "z_spawn hunter".)
4) Now return to the game again and press the "M" key and choose the infected team.
5) When you are in spawn mode you will be whichever infected character you spawned initially. If you want to be a different character just hit "~" again and use the "z_spawn X" code.
6) Get yourself in position then enter the following codes:
sb_stop 0
god 0
This will get the survivor bots moving, and the god code will make it so that they will now take damage.
7) When you die, use the "z_spawn X" code to spawn as any character you want to play, it helps to stop the action and put the survivors back into god mode because you will spawn right by them, this stops them from killing you immediately. Use the code "sb_stop 1" to stop the actions, and "god 1" to put them back into god mode so that the common infected don't kill them while they just stand there.
When they make it to the safe room it will be similar to versus mode, you will play the survivors while the bots play the infected. You can choose to end the game and start over, but you won't be able to switch teams again due to the new patch allowing only 1 team switch per map.
I hope someone will find this useful! It is great if you want to practice and try new things but you don't want to screw you versus mode team over! =P
