Smoker: Le Smokar or Smokar (with a french accent)

Tank: John (inside joke again)

Funniest thing:
Either I play as Bill and while everyone is getting ready I say, "This is for America!" and run in there with only a pistol shooting randomly screaming in my mic, "USA! USA! USA! USA!" until I make it or die.

Long story short...

I'm on the survivors' team in versus mode, we are all screwing around shooting each other (the first to be incapped just started shooting all of us so we all turned on him, then each other). Then, there are only 2 people left standing (me and 1 other). As he turns and starts shooting me I made a quick turn for the exit, opened the safe room door and stood there until I got myself killed by a hunter, then the last guy left gets pounced, the boomer gets in there and they are all covered, the horde rushes in and its all over! =D

It was hilarious to experience but I don't know how well it translates on paper lol. =P

the funniest thing is i was a tank on NM 3 I was just after the veranda in the room where there is a hole and the shelves I waitee till a surviver jumped in ( I should mention there was a smoker above the veranda where the survivers run, right near the entrance to where i was) I punched bill out of the window and the smoker grabbed him as I hit him off the edge so he kinda swung back and forth while hanging over the edge

Well... here's the nicknames etc. (We nicknamed them in Finnish, but I'll give the translation after the name)

Louis: Token (as in Token black guy)

Smoker: Röökijamppa (slang for fag chap, where fag means a cigarette)
Witch: Horo (hoe/bitch/prostitute)
No nicknames for Tank and the hunter

Funniest part...
It must be all the times I get accused of cheating. Either it's when I shoot the smoker from the satellite dish roof through the wall or when I just plain listen to them, sneak up to them and rush+bash+shoot them. It's so satisfying to see the opponent rage, accuse of wallhack or whatever and then leave. Makes me actually think, that I can play the game at least a bit. :D

I've always called the Boomer fatty, along with rousing post-match games of "punch the fatty."
I usually say "Shmokah" over voice chat in my best Sean Connery accent.

In vs, my team had good pings but all of our framerates were crap. We complain about it throughout the entire map until we switch to Survivors. It clears up a bit, so we mention it to each other in allchat. Just as we leave the saferoom, someone on the other team types "Za Warudo!" over chat and all of our framerates drop again.

If I'm on the NM finale or somewhere else with a ledge and the rest of my team is down while there is clearly no way I would survive picking them up, I type in "My life is my own! I have no regrets!" and jump. For some reason the infected team is usually angered by this.

One of my funniest things ive done is when a boomer after the lift/elevator on NM4 the survivors running were near the edge i popped out of a room they shot me and they were all pushed off the edge it was hilarious at the time.

And something i heard happened is someone was playing with a kid he gets incapacitated and shouted "help im incamasturbated!"

I think the funniest thing I have done, which wouldn't seem that funny on the forums here would be to introduce the term ragequit to XBox Live player. For some reason, alot of them don't know that term. They rofl and whatnot for a while after you clarify what that term means... makes me chuckle everytime.

funniest thing happened:
I got incapped in thr second level of no mercy by a team mate and he left me 4 dead, there was no horde or anything and we wer right by the safe room, so as my team ran past i incapped them with pistols lol.
then when he went back to help them i incapped him too, they kicked me.

BUT i joined the game in the last level, they didn't recognise me i dont think, and helped them all the way to the end without using the jesus room, 1 got killed on the second tank, and the other 2 got incapped, i went and helped them up, and just as they limped into the helicopter, i sniped them from the roof of the radio room, and jumped off the building and messaged them saying 'paybacks a bitch haha'

Playing campaign with my best friend on No Mercy (first chapter?) and she gets puked on and, in the confusion of a mass zombie rape hoarde, she shoots the red car that's right on front of the safe house. I attempt to save her incapped ass but a lot of zombies are in the way and all I have left is a pistol and a molotov. The AI (Bill and Louis) is being useless as usual so I set her ass on fire. All the zombies died at least :3. She was revived and all 4 survivors made it. So happy ending? Minus her screaming at me "You set me on fire?!?!?!?".

Here's a new one that just happened to me...

Imagine this: Perfect teamwork between us, absolute domination of the other team. No Mercy, Versus. (we finished with ~6500 score)

This is the finale. We were all at 80+ health, and each one of us had a FAK. After we killed both tanks, neither of which inflicted any damage at all.

During the final rush to the helicopter, I took out my pipebomb to make the run all that much smoother. But how should I throw it..?

Just plain turn and toss? Too boring... so instead, on impulse, I decided to throw it straight UP, so that we will run under it, have the pipebomb land behind us and take out the zombies.

However, due to some... slight miscalculations, mainly me underestimating the horizontal distance it would travel, it ended up on the landing pad. Like this:

Then, the damn thing blew up (it does that!), and the result knockback threw two of the survivors off the pad and under the helicopter, where one of them then began to get raped by the tank, while the other ran back up. It didn't really change the match any, but it was hilarious.

Okay. I'm doing a speedrun on Death Toll, chapter one with some friends. It's on Expert difficulty, and people are jumping from one side of the torn bridge to the other. Two people made it, so only the bot and I are left on the side. I hear the horde coming up behind me. So I make a steady decision - be a punching bag for zombeez, or jump. So I went with he retard idea. Jump. I'm about to make it across, when I slip about an inch off and hear my bones crack. LOVELY NO?

Playing some Versus on DT04 (main street) we got off to an awful start. About the half way point we came across one of the side rooms that occasionally contain items, so I stood guard outside while the other three guys cleared the room. Random horde occurs, and before I know it I'm the one getting swarmed right outside this door, while the others frantically shoot heads off of zombies to help me. I was pretty low on health anyway so I go down.

Just as one of my teammates is rushing out to help me up, a hunter leaps from a high rooftop just above us and we both brace for impact. Literally inches from my savior's back, I shoot the hunter out of the air, from the ground, with possibly the luckiest pistol headshot in recorded history.

The guy I shot called hax and ragequit.

I joined a random versus game the other night and was on the infected team. Everyone that spawned as a hunter went to the safe room and waited, smoker and boomers just kept purposely dying until the whole infected team was 4 hunters... we waited until the survivors got to the safe room and we each pounced 1 and they lost the round. It was funny because they thought they had made it and then at the last second it is all over LOL

It probably isn't the first time anyone has done this, but the first time I saw it, and I thought it was funny. =)

I was speedrunning through NM on Expert last night. I'm almost to the cresendo room in NM2, just after the subways. Suddenly, Tank music comes on, and I've got 24 health. I weigh the options, turn around, and book it back to the safe room. Needless to say, all my bots died. I got back to the safe room at the BEGINNING of NM2, and Tank disappears. I start cheering and leave the safe room again.

So, I run all the way back, save my bots, and we continue on after the cresendo event. We go up the stairs and into the room with the ammo, and guess who's waiting for me inside?

A tank.
I would've been mad, but I was in a pretty good mood and just found it funny as could be.

Why does that sound really familiar? I was in a game with a few friends when one of the kids on our team talked like a high pitched twelve year old screaming his head off when he got pounced and said the same exact line... I think it was in NM2 also.

Probably the funniest two moments that I can remember in L4D so far is on the finale of NM, the rescue helicopter has arrived and the other team was getting on the helicopter, I spawned as smoker so I decided sit right by the helicopter right where the survivors jump onto the heli. The Louis player happened to jumped into my sights, and I sniped his neck with my tongue, and he fell through the copter and went over the edge, hanging off the hospital about half way down the map. We all lol'd hard and that pull won the game by 200 points if I remember correctly.

The second moment that occured was on BH5 at the beginning, when the survivor team comes outta the train safe room. I was smoker (ya for some reason smoker is best for funny moments?) and I pulled the zoey player to the edge on the right of the train, as I was smacking her, louis comes running up and melees me. so I break my grip on zoey, and instead of zoey running off to freedom, she ran right off the cliff and died, and thus more lol insued.
