Yay for new stuffs. This is more sewer footage, sort of like the GameSpot one.

It looks weird without the UI, and that scope is gigantic, I don't like it. When playing with it in somewhat close quarters you don't scope (like in the video), and having to look at that garbage can sized scope will be annoying.

agreed. the scope is abnormally large for how small the actual rifle looks. since the rifle is going to be so hard in close quarters, i hope the melee for it will be able to swipe a much larger area than the other guns

that'd be a nice tradeoff

I don't think the scope is too large at all, and i think the actual rifle fits in perfectly with the other weapons. They all have something about them that i can't put my finger on...

they have a sort of curvy/cool basic look about them, and the fact that all the weapon skins have this adds to the polish.

they could easily of used random skins from elsewhere or just chuked them together but u can tell they had a cirtain goal for all the weapons:)

love them, cant wait to fire them;P

while you're running around with you're "curvy cool" rifle with oversized scope, ill be saving your ass with my 50 round assault rifle :P

i still think they need to shrink the scope down a bit and give it a huge melee swing

The music when Zoey gets "Smoker'd" is awesome. The music overall, love it.

Not to keen on the shotgun sfx in the sewer ... sounds flat, needs EAX or something.

The blood effects on the character models are fantastic.

I seem to see new Infected death animations every time I watch new footage.

Lookin' great! Somehow a lot cleaner.

Where did u hear it was coming out in Feb?
Its been talked about a while ago, I think its the latest `confirmed` date - I believe someone from Valve or TRS said it , although it could always still change at any time - preferably bought forward, but as we all know most date changes are put further back. :(

Also wondering why the infected gameplay video was removed - I knew I should have saved them rather than stream `em!

It was in HD too, great quality! I`d not seen it anywhere before. Showed the infected HUD etc. Still looked a bit `work in progress` to me, perhaps that why it got pulled.
Wasn`t too impressed with the hunter attack animation and contact effect, reminded me of playing as an alien in AvP!

mostly in serious conditions like when zoe was getting hung
and when a tank came out

Personally, the new footage looks worse than before. The textures dont seem to be on the quality as it was before. Whether they have settings turned down I don't know, but they should keep them on highest. Secondly, screw the pussies who put the brightness up to full, it ruins the atmosphere of the game and in that footage it just didn't look good.

I've only watched bits of it so maybe it gets better.

They started along time ago.

As for the sniper rifle having a large swing, why? It's not a large rifle like the AWP, even in Insurgency it's actually quite small.

I like how character models get bloodier over time, but they still haven't added the effect when you're getting mauled. The blood also randomly disappears over time or when you're knocked down. Once they got that, blood effects when being attacked right, they need to add blood on weapons. If RO can do it so can L4D
