The guy playing Francis is a bit of a lunatic ... charging on ahead by himself. At the beginning of the second vid, he almost gets what he deserves.

You actually see the character model blood effects from first person perspective. Check Francis' hands after the Boomer pukes on him.

Now I finally know why some parts of the music seemed so familiar to me. Anyone remember the music in 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick when the monolith is found the 2nd time? This enormous tumult of voices and sounds like hundred people making "AHHHH" and "WHAAA" and "IIEEEHHHH" plus the noise of a few dieing giraffes ...

i hope the other Nade wepons are faster than the Petrol bomb, did that seem really slow to anyone else? i know stuff doesnt have much waight in the source engine but with 20 infected running towards you that might be too slow. . . . what yas think?

No. It was fine. Plus, grenades don't use the same physics/'weight' system unless the developer chooses so (CS:S and Left 4 Dead do not, HL2 and HL2 deathmatch does). It traveled at a perfectly reasonable speed and he threw it up in the air so it arched. And it was a molotov cocktail- not a pipebomb.

I did notice that the burning cottton in the bottle had first person cloth physics as he turned left and right. Very neat. Plus the fire followed suite.

i said Petrol bomb, which is pretty much the same as a molotov cocktail where im from. and i didnt mean its wrong how it is, just it might be hard to use in comparison to the nades on CS or FEAR, but i supose it all adds up to a more dramatic game experiece

New vids are cool too, its great that we can see the game develop, with the new changes and tweaks:)

we just need to see some good infected gameplay footage and some new scenarios now:)

The music is cool how it starts playing when zombies attack, but I think they should use the 28 weeks later theme song for it. They could play the slow part of the song when a few zombies are attacking, and they could play the awesome and loud guitar part when you're under heavy attack.

It builds very slowly, but the basic melody could play constantly from the slow part or the guitar part later on depending on how much action there is.

High five Nemesis,seriously. As a musician and fanatic zombie apocalypse lover, when I watched 28 Days Later the first time, I was completely and utterly captivated by the soundtrack. The music just spelled the end is here. I mean I am 17 right now, so when I watched 28 Days Later I was 12, and everytime I think of the music in the movie it gets me everytime, amazing soundtrack for an equally amazing movie.

But I don't think the music would fit in the game. It's just not the same atmosphere. Sure its the same concept, but the movie just gave you that different sense of "you are fucked. There is no way you can actually live through this nightmarish world now." Ya know?

Just turn off the music and play whatever you want ... I will stick to Elvis, Johnny Cash and Misfits =).
