Got a 9.3 in IGN's review. Just wondering besides me, who else is going to get this? Im downloading the demo now, been playing the beta a while.

Sept. 18th couldn't be any closer... unless it was September 17th.

This will probably kill Airborne and Orange Box for a while.

Not for me. It was fun enough, but not really my bag. I love RTS, and I had a fine time in beta, but there are far too many other games I'm excited for ... it didn't quite jive with my expectations. That said, I understand why so many people like WiC, and I hope it enjoys a successful retail launch.

It's probably gonna kill Airborne, since 90% of the people CANT EVEN FREAKING INSTALL! I made my dad blow 60 bucks on something that doesn't work. We've been trying to get it to work but no luck as of yet.

Did you buy the DVD copy or something? I hope mine doesn't crap up, im getting it tomorrow.

i'm pretty sure there is only a DVD copy. First of all it takes about 10 minutes just for my driver to read the damn thing, second, when I press install nothing happens. Tried using a different driver but it can read the thing at all. Something is very wrong with this disc.

Wow, really? I haven't even broken the seal on mine, yet. Hope it works when I do.

EDIT:

By the way, I've seen this several times, having since researched the issue:

"For anyone else experiencing this problem it's a bug in the installer related to Windows Firewall. You must have it on and the associated service started for it to install correctly."
