Badly needed Graphical aid for volunteerd website

Hi all,

in case anyone wants to know I have Scoliosis, its a not a big issue with me but I run a free site about it. It sadly got "hacked" and its now gone and I want to redo it this time making it alot more friendly looking... So in terms of this seeing I have no skill with graphics I need help. I cannot promise any money for this all I can promise is perhaps a free hosting, a big thank you and I owe you one...

I basically need everything but will settle for help with a new logo and a "mascot" which should basically be a ? shaped spine that smiles and does stuff...

I'm actually trying to wrap my head around website building and graphic design myself, for my business. If I knew more about it, I'd at least pitch in with the mascot ... but at the moment, I don't even know what PHP stands for. =P

That someone would hack a Scoliosis website is pretty low.

It must take a special kind of moral retardation to hack into a voluntary site set up to provide information about a medical condition.

My actual design skills aren't very good so a mascot is probably beyond me. And I suck at PHP. :( What you want seems to be very similar to how L4D411 works though, basically just forums + news and content posting. Maybe squerl/frogopus could help you out with the backend, or give you some pointers? If they have time.

It might help get more peoples attention/interest if you have an image of how the site looked before too. Because it doesn't sound like you need anything complex for the actual design/look of the site, just something simple and functional but not ugly. Sort of like how the designs of sites like wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) and mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/) are.

what kawinky dink I also have a bad case of scoliosis according to the guy at my football physical....my neck/back hurts like a B*** every day and I just keep taking back pills/ibuprofen....one of these days I'm gonna go to a chiropractor.....but I can't help ya with a website cause my PC sucks and lately I don't have a lot of free time.
