It features info on both the new "They Hunger" and Left 4 Dead. TH is actually looking, or atleast sounding REALLY good. Based on the quick blurb about zombies in that article im expecting shamblers and runners alike. Plus melee etc. its bound to be an awesome game. I wonder if its bought or just a mod, because it sounds like they're spending a lot of time and effort on it moreso than just an average mod team. The only drawback to TH is that its single-player only, hopefully a co-op pops up sometime around the corner though.

Nothing new on L4D, but it states that each map is as large as HL2's biggest map. Whatever map that is idono but it ought to be large.

Call me a heretic, blasphemist or whatever but its shaping up to be a game more to my liking than even L4D. Granted, they're both extremely different except for being based around zombies.

Yeah, should be interesting to see how it all shakes down next year.

Personally, I'm way more geeked about L4D right now. I played the original TH years ago (which was a fan-made mod for HL1), and thought it was just OK. Didn't really do it for me. And I've now been kind of keeping up here and there with the new version (which will be stand-alone retail, I believe), and eh... I don't know what it is, but the stuff I've seen on it just ain't doing it for me yet.

Not sure if it's just bad quality screenshots I always see or what, but it always looks kind of rough, outdated, and so "mod-like" to me. I'm sure it will turn out cool in the end, but I just like the overall trip, settings, intensity, and eye candy (from what I've seen already in videos and screenies) of L4D, way more myself. (Dead Island actually looks more interesting to me than TH:LS.)

And the 4-player co-op(!) of L4D, which is something I've been dreaming about for frigging years in a zombie game, flat out seals the deal for me!

But then in the end, hey, the more zombie games the better, really! That's never a bad thing. So in that sense it's all just gravy anyway after L4D. Bring on 2008 already!!! :)

Yeah, it's the co-op aspect of L4D that really has me pumped. Like Sir Graves, it's my dream concept.

Which isn't to say the new They Hunger doesn't sound really cool. Bring it on!
