Mic Problems

Alright when I join a friends game half way through I can hear everyone on my team but no one can hear me. However if we return to the lobby then people can hear me again.
Does anyone know what could be wrong ? And what I can do to fix it because it really shits me off that no one can hear me.

in the lobby there is no push to talk button, so try setting your mic up so that it only works when a sound is made

it is set up like that.
Whenever i make a sound it comes up on my screen that I am talking but no one else can hear me.
This is for xbox as well, is that what you are talking about.

I have the same problem sometimes. Apparently when I talk it forces everyone elses sound to go very quiet, but they still can't hear me. No idea what the issue is but it happens so rarely it isn't that big a deal.

Try a different mic and try same mic in a different controller to see if either the mic or the controller is defective.
