I have this baby. Shoots about 300 FPS with the lube and the new spring I got and fiddled with. It hurts so much. It weighs 1.75 lb's yay! Go 1911!

It is really nice, packs a punch, and is great. I play in the woods near my friends house, we are kinda serious, but as not many other people do it, we won't get really expensive guns. Only Springers for now, maybe rifles later.

I have a gas powerd M16 with a scope and a laser sighting, and an electric M4 and M16 mix, and two spring Pistols. My gas powerd m16 goes like 400 fps or 430. My electric goes 270 fps, and spring ones go 175 fps.

I have a Tokyo-Marui G36c that's currently stock, running 295FPS on average, with a tight bore barrel. However i did sort of jury rig a 9.6v 3000MaH battery on, and my GOD does that thing roar like a monster. My rate of fire would be impossible to count, compared to my old 8.4 1150 MaH batteries it's gotta be 3-4 times faster.

I also have a Tokyo-Marui G18c as a side arm. Mean little bastard for when i run out of ammo or something goes bad.

Finally, one of my most touchy weapons which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't; Is a KJW M700 sniper rifle. I get around 500 with green gas on .20s. But generally i use propane and .30 bbs in this thing. I've gotten some amazing kills at insane (for airsoft) ranges. Other times it barely rolls out of the barrel. Crappy magazines and a poor hop-up have given me a lot of problems.

I'm upgrading to a gas gun (WE tech 1911) and I was wondering if anyone knew if paintball lubrication oil is the same as the silicon spray/drops used to lubricate the gas guns.

i just got into it, i recently bought a p90 wellfire. It's battery op and gravity fed, not a real good gun to play a game with, but its pretty fun to mess around with. I plan on getting a fully metal, semi-automatic WE V5 HiCapa 1911 gas blowback (http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GBB405) next, im a pistol fiend.

I play paintball too but it's expensive. I have a Tippmann A-5 which I've only used like twice and the last time I went I paid like $40 for entrance fee to the field and paint and I only got to play about 2 times.

i got a tokyo p90 tri-rail very nice gun. yeah it dosnt have the power of things like the m4 but still sweet gun and very reliable. unfortunatly no sites all that close to me atleast not that i can find anyway :(

oh and for the record pball sux :p the only people who say otherwise are people who havent played airsoft!

to be fair tho i can see the fun side of it it just cost to much and its way to small a playing field for me. id much rather start far enuff away that i cant see the other team and have some proper objectives. plus the guns look like crap!

You shoot tiny little plastic bb's that don't hurt, and therefore aren't scary and doesn't create/mimic a warlike situation. And there is always someone going "NUH UH, YOU DIDN'T HIT ME!!!"
Also, they are FAR less accurate at long range. The slightest wind and your fucked.

Paintball:
You know, and the shooter knows when your hit. You are marked, and it pushes you back a bit if your not ready. People don't like to get hit by balls of paint, at all. That creates for a tense situation, and therefore people are trying harder. Paintballs can be far more accurate than airsoft as well. In large games you can have paintball mines, gattling guns, tanks, fun stuff. Can't see that happening with Airsoft.

The BBs can hurt, though it might not be as much as paintballs. It varies with the gun and mass of the BB. I haven't played with anyone who says that I didn't hit them when I did and paintballs aren't more accurate than BBs can be.
Also in paintball, some people wipe the paint off. And I think that there are some minigun airsoft guns and claymores. I've never seen a tank in paintball.

Like someone said the tension and heat in a paintball game is what makes it better. I haven't actually played a proper game with BBs but I have used them and messed around with friends and some do hurt a little, the powerful ones but only at a distance of like 10 metres or less.

It is MUCH harder to cheat in paintball because the paints are designed to smear if you wipe them off making them even more visible, if you are lucky the ball will not break on impact :)

I went paintballing recently and everyone there was 20+ and I came out of the first few games feeling great because I kicked their royal asses and got 10 kills :) Ahhh nothing like making the oldies feel a little pain :D

Funny how all paintball guys say that airsoft doesn't hurt. They are different. The energy of a paintball outweighs the energy of a airsoft BB - obviously since they are a lot heavier. ALTHOUGH. Paintballs are larger meaning they spread that energy all over the area they hit - more than an airsoft BB does since they are SMALLER. Also, paintballs break, reducing that energy somewhat. An airsoft pellet doesn't hurt when you're wearing enough clothing (layers especially) because they don't weight enough. But, god damn, if you get hit by a high powered airsoft rifle on your bareskin... Well, that's a different story. I've seen shots digging into peoples finger nails and shit. Hurts like hell. Paintballs just leave bruises, they don't penetrate the same way an airsoft BB does.

Paintballers also state that it's SO easy to cheat in Airsoft. Guess what? We airsoft people aren't ASSHOLES who just want to win. We play for the fun in it and maybe the exercise, and we use the honor system. We're not douches, sorry. Real airsofters don't cheat. I like that, they're honorable people. I've seen far too many paintballers go on a rampage of anger when they get hit... They take it too seriously. It's just sport. Learn to accept defeat and learn to accept victory. It's not worth cheating, 'cause that takes away the fun in it.

I have also added a carry handle with a red dot scope on it, a front grip and a suppressor. Fitted a longer prometheus 6.03mm tight bore barrel in it, upgraded the stock hop up system to a Systema with a guarder bucking. I also use a laser for night games.
Shot around 10,000-15,000 bbs, and it's still working great. Kick ass RoF with a 9.6v 2200mAh battery. I love it.

Blah, blah, blah. That doesn't change the fact that using red paintballs is freakin sweet. Shooting some guy multiple times and seeing the paint splatter is awesome. Really gives it that "BOOM! HEADSHOT" kinda feel. Airsoft BB's just bounce off of everything. Relying on the honor system may be great and all, but it's so much more fulfilling to see the paint splatter across someones face mask than someone saying "Shit, yeah, a BB hit me guys, I'm out. It ricocheted off of that tree."

I play paintball for the fun of it, I don't really give a damn about winning. It's all about seeing the headshot paint splatter, the 8 shots you put in to the back of an enemy, and the paint-soaked forest where you just caused destruction.
