Tip on how to kill tanks on No Mercy final without molotov

My friend Luckie came up with this tactic
(Yes this has already been used on No mercy lvl 4 etc etc) but I tried Luckie's tactic on a Versus game

And it worked out perfect !
(except for 2 of my teammates that got .. owned)

Haha I try to do the same thing but in versus people seem to think that they cannot win without being in the usual spot. =/

Yeah, its actually really hard to win on the minigun platform. There are so much better places to do it. I will definetly give that strategy a go.

That, BTW, is awesome for a couple of reasons.

#1 Seeing the "double punt" in slow mo off the roof. :D
#2 That you did not give up and STILL won the scenario w/ two characters. :)

Pretty win tactic I must say, only problem is if you don't get any propane tanks ;P (50% chance), not to mention if one of your teammates wastes them. Other than that, good strategy :3.

I don't recall having you on my friends list? I haven't jumped off the roof in no mercy since a couple days back when I was bill and we were kicking the other teams ass o.o.

Then there was another time when I jumped off the roof with a tank when I was messing around, killed one person, they were getting owned pretty badly, so I wanted to insult them by not even wasting my time with them, plus they were ass holes lol.

So really, you must be thinking of another Kiwi o.o.

Wow, I'm surprised that this hasn't been posted yet. This is old as shit. We don't do it anymore, because everyone in versus seems to know what happens when you shoot a tank near the tank, eh you know.

And you can avoid being pushed down by the tank as a tank, because the explosion doesn't effect you when you throw a stone near the tank!

Well it looks kind of fun, but it seems to me to be a surefire way to get the other team to ragequit (if they haven't already just left after their turn on infected *sigh*), and you have a pretty high chance of being launched off the roof - as demonstrated by the awesome double-punch.

Nice method. I took about 3 games before my teammates would actually listen and STOP blowing up the propane tanks before the tanks even spawned but when we were able to save ONE it worked well - the other teams was like 'wtf - that's some hax' and ended up rage quitting. I couldn't stop laughing.

I've seen a tank throw a rock and right when the propanetank exploded he just stopped the animation and fell down
Then he made something wrong, because we experienced the opposite!

Nice tactic. I've used a few propanes on tanks before but that is a pretty damn good spot, even for dealing with the regular infected during the finale too. Nice find.
