Recent Lag on 360

Has anyone else been getting a good amount of lag since the patch came out? I realize that there is an influx of players which means less server bandwidth to go around, but I was just wondering if everyone is getting it or its just me. Not like its killin me but seems like there are a lot more lag spikes and a lot of times its when im not even spawned yet as an infected.

Yer man I have been getting that as well. Often it will either be when we are fighting off a tank or after I have been vomited on which both consequently result in me usually being incapped.

It's probably because of as you said the influx of new players. Like I have been playing games and in most games I talk to people that are playing in their first game or something similar to that.

Our first attempt at Versus Death Toll lagged to hell, but after that it was fine.

I've been having a little lag during survival, I just chalked it up to the framerate choking on the larger then normal amount of infected. but idk.

yea, i experienced the same thing. idk if it's the xbox live connection or the host's connection. the host's connection was pretty good, but xbox live wasnt all that bad. wtf is going on....

I have to agree. I have been having the same issues recently. Not a lot, but occasionally it will lag for a few seconds, and throw me a little disoriented. I have a green connection everytime though, so it's probably the Host connection instead of your own. When I host games, I don't think I remember having any lag at all.

I played survival offline last night, still managed to lag somehow :(
I think it's something to do with the framerate as Kamakertai said.

yeah they're freakin annoyin, the morning the DLC came out was horrible i had green connection and got like 5-10 second lag patches

It's been terrible for the first week or so with many lag spikes sometimes killing the game. After that it's just minor lag spikes when the host has a crappy connection.
