Does anyone know if 360 is getting an update soon to fix the glitches that people continue to find in survival mode.
Also is there anyone out that knows if we are getting an over the shoulder camera similar to that PC users have when they are infected because I have seem some videos and they can do some crazy as shit with there hunters.
Thanks in advance for anyone that can help me.
Well Updates are handled a bit differently by Microsoft so I really wouldn't be able to predict when the new update we got on the 23rd is coming out for you guys (My guess, a few weeks), and as for the third person camera view, 99% chance it will not be coming out. Why? Cause the 360 does not support the developers console (It's a command + a lot of other commands to make it the way you see it) so unless they perfected they're third person camera and added in the options for 360 players, don't expect to see it.
Hope this helped.

Yer that's pretty much everything I needed to know thanks. So is the PC version THAT much better then the 360 version?

Eh. Depends on your preferances.

Well what parts of the PC version make it better then 360?
Well for me it's the fact that I have a keyboard and it just seems like a little more freedom, being able to customize my key preferences is a huge thing for me. Although some people would call it a downside I love steam and the friends network, definitely / is the best friends network out there for gaming.
The developers console opens up more possibilities for customization and fixes (Although, xBox doesn't have as many glitches as the PC, the console helps fix some of the ones that both of them have). Not to mention I like being able to type amongst friends in game if my mic is unusable, also, for people who don't have mics they can type as well, making them have somewhat of a voice.
There are some things about console that are better, but I'm a PC gamer, therefore I automatically think of the upsides to PC ^^.

I've played both versions, and to be honest, I love both of them. As Kiwi already said, for the PC version, you have the freedom to customize the key preferences on which button to use for moving about, switching weapons, and such. What I like about the 360 though, is that you can do a 180 degree turn with a simple push of a button. You can toggle with the crouch button too, rather than holding it, you merely push it once and the survivor automatically crouches with ease. I'll write more about the differences later because I'm short on time and have to get off. Till then~ Ciao!

I'll agree with you there, also, simplicity is a key for most people. I mean, there are scripts that allow you to just toggle crouch on/off, but some people don't like complex code or to have to do anything of that.
I myself have gotten used to that and as a matter fact I'm using a code atm that makes me toggle crouch on/off :3.
OT: If your looking for the best version, you wont be able to find it, but if you want to know what's best for you, think about it, xBox is simple yet effective while holding good aspects, PC can be simple but at the same time if you really wanted it to be it could be complex too. It all depends ^^.
Not to mention PC requires money, constant upgrading for best looks, etc.. (I don't mind that, I actually like it more for that reason ^^)

Not if he already has a good enough pc to run it on already. And you always have to worry about RROD with xbox.
I play it on xbox and like it, but I would play it on pc also if I had a good enough one to do so.

There's always something better to buy with a PC xD.
RROD isn't as much of a concern with newer xBox's (Or so I hear).

Jeez I don't understand how PC can get an update just days after it comes out but we have to wait 2-3 months.

For PC, Microsoft has no say in when L4D gets patched. Xbox people have to suffer because Microsoft can do whatever they want.

I'd say PC is better, maily because of the custom content. But that's just because I'm a PC gamer. Also, I'm guessing 360 would have more pre-pubescent kids who constantly grief and whatnot.

I'm not saying which is better for L4D but the PC is custom made to the users preference. The 360 is standard everything so it's not very appealing to me. I'm not saying it sucks, as a matter of fact for the price it's amazing. I'm just saying the PC has more possibilities.

Yeah the only problem with the PC is the pirce. Well, that and my fucked up internet! But I suppose that affects the 360 too :P

Agreed. A lot more expensive.

How much more expensive can it be. You don't have to pay for the updates and shit like that do ya.

No, patches are free.
Any patches on 360 that cost money do so because of Microsoft.
My computer cost $668.52 (it's not even the best I could get it) where a 360 costs $250.

It's the hardware, a 360 cost's $300, whereas with a PC you can spend that much on the Graphic Card alone. Then you have to buy a processor (most expensive of the lot), RAM, Motherboard and then the case, mouse, keyboard and monitor. It also uses alot more power, and you'll have to upgrade it about once every year or two if you want to keep it the best. Then there's viruses and other things like that. It does make up for it with the price of games, they're abit cheaper, so you might balance the price out if you game slot with your PC.
Oh, and my PC cost $1200, I got it in 07, and it wasn't the best you could get, but close to it. I also recently upgraded my Graphics card which cost about $200. Not to mention all the times I've had to get it fixed.

Well I got a new laptop about 3 months ago. Not top of the line but it cost me $1700.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P7350 @ 2.00GHz 4.9 4.0
Determined by lowest subscore
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB 5.3
Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 4.0
Gaming graphics 1021 MB Total available graphics memory 4.1
Primary hard disk 202GB Free (288GB Total)
What do ya reckon will I have to update anything??

I don't really have any idea about laptops, I honestly can't see why anyone would get one for gaming.

Check the thread about "can I run L4D"
Like I said before, RAM is probably your only concern.
