What's your biggest MP Game annoyances?

After my little rant on the TF2/Orange Box thread about bunnyhopping, I was wondering what the other major niggles were in the eyes of you lot?

12 Year olds and below. They are the scum of the internet. EXTERMINATE! No but I just cant stand how they ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL sound the same, and all they do is play really shitty and say OH YOUR MOM YOUR MOM HAHAHAHAH YOUR GAY and what not. So..Yea...that pisses me off.

People not working together towards a single goal. This is the bane of all multiplayer games, at least for me. The 'lone wolves' whom only care about their own hide. Hopefully Left 4 Dead will somewhat stop these ass hats from ruining anymore great gaming sessions.

In servers that use voice communication, the players who think its cool to mock anybody who talks but not talk themselves. Example: Player A "Plant the bomb please", Annoying Player B repeats it in a really high, mememe voice. The problem with this is that there's really no arguing with somebody doing it, if you argue they'll just keep up the annoying mock.

That's a weird thing, but yeah.. that's what annoys me most.

People who insta-prone in BF2. People who don't have any variety in player classes in TF2. AWP whores. Little kids and I know we have little kids here too! :-p I foresee a future for L4D noobs. They will probably rush the survivors all the time as infected or just be complete idiots. Oh and spies that keep backstabbing you in TF2! Nothing pisses me off more than an invisible spy in TF2 backstabbing you. Then they gotta zoom in and make you take a pic of the invisible spy in the corner. grrrr

*Long distance running (looking at you Red Orch!)
*insta-death spawning area
*Insta-death after finally seeing signs of battle (Again, Red Orch)
*Far too long respawn times after insta-death

Biggest annoyance caused by player:
*TKers
*Newbies that think they know what they're doing
*Spawn Campers ("Yahck! Yahuck! I gots me anuther one billy bob!")

Thankfully that shouldn't be a big problem in L4D, as the characters yell "MOVE!" and "BACK UP!" automatically, if they move or back into another player. What a concept! :)

Re: CSS, you get that juvenile "smack talk and pwnage attitude" junk in every single online multiplayer game on the planet (on pub servers), not just in CS (which I've played for years and still do almost every weekend). All of 'em. No exceptions. You'll find idiots in every game. They keep making more!

My biggest MP gripe? The fact that most games today require you to be logged-in and tethered to their middleman service/servers, etc., to even play the game you paid for--whether you care about tracked stats and all that or not! In the good old days you could simply launch the game and make your own LAN/Internet/Direct Connection server without having to be logged into any kind of Steam type deal. Bah! You were instantly ready on your own, using your own connection, and weren't at the mercy of connectivity issues or downtime with a separate service. It was better and easier.

Also miss the days when people within the same household(!) could simply share 1 copy of a game they purchased, for private, in-house LAN play, and NOT have to go out and pay for additional numerous copies for every brother/friend playing within said household on the LAN. I know why they don't let you do this anymore, but it still stinks for the consumer.

Not just the young ones, but a lot of older or 17-19 year olds think their all badass and wont get off the fucking mic.

Ironically, I just got out of a zombie hell game with some pre-pubescent kid that
a) sounded like he was hacking up a lung because his mouth was too close to the mic
b) blamed the fact that we were losing on the rest of the team claiming "it was sucky"
c) ordered everyone to use shotguns, claiming "it was the only way to win" (and getting angry when people ignored him)
I think that this person is an adequate description of the kind of guy that pisses people off on the internet.

I was playing some CSS
Luckily i eliminated 4 players 2 of them admins
They say i was cheating and ban me from the servers
And they were the ones who transported themselves to rooftops and had infinite hand grenades

The infinite grenades was (maybe) because it was a gungame server. And you might be confusing ladders with teleportation devices. ;p

cant really offer an opinion on halo...

played it through (1&) on a borrowed xbox and was like 'meh salright but its not floating my boat' played through 1 on the pc to compare... and never ever did i think it was good enough to want to play it online.its ugly over rated and simplistic

maybe 3 will bring something to the table thats new and fun or at least up to the std of UT,COD or the bf series (pc not console)

awpers r sorta ok but i generally play mod servers not normal kind anymore. in de_dust2 wen they nade spam u by throwing nade at u, then quickly getting 2 spawn and buying a new grenade.

ppl who h8 the way u're playing coz ur getting more kills then them, and if they kikll u they're like HAHAHAHAHA U GOT OWNED !!!!, like in DoD:S wen u prone with sniper and they h8 u 4 it, or wen u camp

i dont like players who choose the worst spots 2 camp/prone in, or wen they're sitting right next 2 the objective and wont help u capture

I cant stand the 12 year olds too, but assholes come in all ages and sizes.
TKers who do it on purpose deserve to be stabbed in the face.
Also, those who scream obscenities onto the mic should have their skin flayed off over the course of three days.

Not to mention AWP whores, I dont mind when 1 or 2 guys use it, but when the whole server goes AWPshit, then i want to start taking limbs!
