okay, i have a question...
can you get Nothing Special on versus? not many people, if any i know have tried this, so i was wondering if it's possible???
also, if it's not, i'm looking for some people who are actually good and are going for this achievement too. pm me or leave your gamertag if you're interested.

I doubt it is, that would make it way to easy to get by "cheating". I'm pretty sure it says finish any campaign too.

Yer but you can get the finish No Mercy campaign achievement on versus.

OT: Anyway I think it be almost impossible no matter how good you are considering now every single pounce does at least one damage and smokers do damage while they pull.

The best way to attempt it, in my opinion, would be to play split screen versus against yourself.

What I mean by that is, have two controllers, enable splitscreen, and make one controller be your real account and the other be a dummy account (you can just make one on the fly). Now, start your own versus lobby (set permissions for System Link), and choose to be either Survivor or Infected. Whichever you choose, make your dummy be on the other team. Start the game.

As you guessed, go through letting your real account go through unharmed by your other account. You could just spawn your dummy and kill him once for good measure. Needless to say, you should be able to get through unscathed by special infected.

However, you have to pay attention for possible tank spawns. If this happens, stop playing as your actual account and switch over to your dummy. You have to get over to the Survivors before Tank patience meter wears out so you can kill it with ease. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with a CPU tank that will ignore your attempt for this achievement (assuming this actually works in the end... which I'm unsure).

Hope this helps. I might try it too, seeing as I don't have Live at home, so I have nothing better to do.

I think that is what Nuttz was referring to when he said it might be cheating.

Indeed what Nuttz was saying as cheating. Also, to have 2 accounts you would also need 2 copies of the game. And personally, even if this worked, it aint worth doling out the extra dough for it IMO.

eh i tried it. made sure i didn't get hit once by specials, and i didn't get it, lol. i didn't die or none of that. no witch got me. so i guess it won't work. who knows, i might've messed up though. but i'm still open for people to add me if they want/need it, or already have Nothing Special.

If you want to seek out TWE Shellsockr he's the one who helped me get it, though you might have less luck finding him doing that nearly as much as he used to, since the new survivor mode has been keeping him busy.

No, you can do splitscreen versus on one console with one disc. The second "account" doesn't even need to be linked to Xbox Live. Not that it matters anyways, it doesn't get you the achievement in the end, as stated previously.

well, i don't know if it works on versus. here's what i do know: it is fairly easy. it's based on patience. i did it on dead air with random people, and we managed to work together, and i got the achievement a long time ago. yes, we made it. just yesterday, i did the same thing because pplz wanted some help, and we did a practice run through dead air. we got until the finale and someone got hit by the 2nd tank, on our first test run. i got all the achievements, and nothing special WAS the last one i got. now i got 50/50.

haha no it wasn't man. it was fairly easy, because we had good communication, and good people! it was awesome. i still remember that yob1e kid, the one who ran past the tank and got hit at the end of the 3rd chapter. what a retard he was! oh well at least we got it. thanks again man. now if i can just beat the other 3 campaigns on expert...lol :)
