Dead Air: Smokers Paradise

So after playing a ton of Dead Air this past weekend, I've come to the conclusion that DA 1 and 2 are the best smoker maps in the game by far. In addition to a ton of normal cool pull spots there are a handful of instakill death pull spots, as well as incap spots.

I took the time today to get screen shots and write up small descriptions of all these spots. Check it out and feel free to add/discuss any other spots you might know about.

Dunno about instant kill, never been insta-killed on any DA or DT map. Certainly all are very good pull-off spots tho.

I can think of at least two insta-kill pull spots on the first two Dead Air maps, but they're pretty situational and a decent survivor team will spot the trap easily.

Still fun to pull some unsuspecting pubber to their doom, however.

It'll be interesting to see if Valve get rid of the insta-kill spots, and if their "expansion" of possible places the infected can get to on DA and DT will result in more spots like these.

I've survived an instakill spot near the crane. Teammates killed the smoker right as I was pulled above one of the pillars in the first area. Landed with 10hp , managed to heal up , kill some hunters mid air , get pounced and freed by teammates and limp my way back through the flats , winning the round with all 4. Sometimes versus is ridiculously awesome.

I know of four inst-kill spots in the first two maps. I play with a couple of guys that play the game constantly so they all kinds of shit. And personally I don't think they should have ever removed insta-kill spots because some degree of expertise is required to pull it off.

Whats better is having friends on infected while I'm on survivor and telling the noobs exactly where to stand.

You can pull off MANY spots on Dead Air and kill Survivors. It truly is the Best Smoker map.
Most fun too. So far.

Cool post, gonna try some of those instakill spots. It'd be great if you could get some buddies to play a fake game and record demos on how/where to do the pulls.
