Alright kiddies, Fileplanet has a thing going right now where everyone with a free Fileplanet account can join in the Tabula Rasa beta.
I highly recommend checking this game out. It's much more fast paced than other MMO's out, way more actiony (I made that word up), and just overall a blast.
Hard to describe the gameplay of it, but it makes MMO combat much more fun. No more must you just sit on auto-attack... I was hiding behind trees, running out, firing off some shots, getting behind cover, switching to my pulse shotgun, running up the aliens, shooting a couple times, and when I'd reach them, I'd finish them off with a melee attack, bashing them across the face with the butt of my gun. Very cool.
The quests are actually pretty fun too, especially the instanced material. Even in the beginning areas, alien dropships would continually fly overhead and drop soldiers in at random areas, and big battles would begin.
So yeah, check it out! =D
