headphone/noise problem

Well, I first had the Fatality headset, it was an awesome headset, untill..
Well, I played on a server with voicespammers and since then, my headset has become noisy and it became even worse
So last week I bought a new headset, the sweet Razer Carcharias

But .. I still have the noise
Not as much as on the Fatality headset, but this one is brand new and shouldn't be noisy at all :-/

So is there something wrong with my soundcard or sumthing cause I'm really .. annoyed

you shoulnt have that noise from voice spammers i would say check the sound card settings to see if something its wrong in there, sometimes the speaker loudness option of some sound cards make a screech noise if is that what your talking about. other thing its you can update your sound drivers that may help but if you were using it b4 just fine there is a low chance. check that and let me know. also what type of sound card you have probably others will be able to help you more than i can. one last thing are those headset usb or regular 3.5mm
