View Full Version : What Game Should I Get For My Computer?

I've got 100$ yesterday and I spent about 50$ on it for Metroid Prime 3 Corruption.

These are the choices I have and how much money I have on me.

I've already saw both endings of Bio Shock so I'm not really looking to get that one but, if you still think I should get it then you can say so :P

Or if you have any other games in mind that i can possibly buy for 45$

Orange box, all games on PC are non-replayable beside the golden valve games and some EA title's like the Battlefield series, all others suck.

Dont get lost planet or Two Worlds. I played them for 360, Lost Planet just gets so repetitive, look another alien bug monster, shoot it. Thats basically that. The online wasn't bad though. Two Worlds I had a blast with my friend, but it was INSANELY laggy when I played, because of a reason unknown. Plus its real easy to level up. Id just save my money if I were you. Nothing much worth it out right now.

I would say Bioshock, hands down. Even if you've seen the ending, the gameplay is INCREDIBLE.

STALKER

some enjoy it, some hate it.

I enjoyed it, the and musics on it are awsome it has a non-linear storyline and features gameplay elements such as trading and two-way communication with NPCs.
The Zone is awsome, and AI is great. And the games atmosphere is so damn good.
I myself have made all endings trough.

And there is great mods for it what makes it even better.

if you want have great experience in post apocayptic world i say buy
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

and btw expansion is coming too.

Bioshock looks like the most stand out title. If you're looking for something with a lot of replay the only one on that list will be Guild War (although it never hooked me).

Well I made my choice..

I bought STALKER..

I went with my brother and we talked about all the games and their elements and the good and bad..

Our most important goal was just for re-play ability and a game we could both enjoy.

I struggled between GWEN and STALKER but, GW was only really fun to me because of how much I chat and play along with other people in big groups and go doing stuff.

And I don't think I'd have to worry about any of my other world wide "internet friends" not being on or any thing like that for me to get bored.

So my final choice was S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

Gonna play it right now :) hopes its good!

I was in the beta for World in Conflict and it wasn't that great, cool teamwork but pretty bad game.

World in Conflict was alright... but I'm sorta the guy that likes to build up a huge ass base, and play more defensively in RTS games. World in Conflict didn't really have that option =\

Bit late but BioShock was the obvious answer.

STALKER is buggy as hell.
Lost Planet performs terribly/is terribly optimized.
Two Worlds I don't know about, looks cool though but it's a pretty no-name game.
And GWEN is probably only good if you have the other 3 games.

World In Conflict is just awesome. but Global's right, no camping... or ima take my scout chopper and drop as many tactical aids as possible :)

Of course, you could just get the orange box like everyone else.

Meh, the game is still fucked up for me, I don't even know why I still have it. Odd too, I get like 100+FPS, but then when I start shooting it drops down to like 2, then back up. Not to mention the save bug before that, and random crashes...

STALKER was a good choice, it has rpg and fps, and you can fight your brother in deathmatch and other game modes (I don't know what game modes it has)

Online was utter crap, like stranglehold, they threw it in there, people who are a big fps fan and not so big on rpgs will absolutely hate this game, pure boringness.
It feels like your shooting a nerf gun, everything about it is dull, and the textures, it looks like they made these excellent textures then smudged and burned them in photoshop all to hell, I get it's trying to make it dark, gloomy, mopy, but they absolutely ruined the graphics, GoW pulled off the Dark and Gloomy look excellent. They make the guns unrealistically inaccurate, and btw people can't flinch from a shot to the head, that's bullshit and this game went for realism in ballistics and damage, only Ganadose can pull off a move like a head flinch. It was fun for a bit when it was a sort of free roam, yes you can free roam in this game but every level is ONE WAY, every single map is a straight line, how the fuck is that free roam.
