Nope, this game just left the early stage of development, so we might see some gamplay footage soon!

I require alien sex to be interested.
also, human-on-alien action.
also, this game combines rts and fps perfectly as NS1 did so get it over everything else.
even if it lacks inappropriate sex scenes.

As a virgin to NS (excluding one botched group experience where I left crying in my underwear, and a recent play for first base with a couple guys) I have to say I do like the concept of the game. Its just that trying to play the current build is like a 15 year old trying to audition at a porn studio. Hopefully with the release of the sequel, I'll be able to find my own awkward group to experiment with and ease myself in.

I just realized that you can pre-order NS2 already and get access to the alpha (if you buy the special version) via steam. Downloading right now <.<
Edit: Well right now it's only a pre-alpha engine test, so no shooting aliens or smashing humans, only two practise maps with dummy-targets to shoot at!

I used to really like the original game and played it from when it was first released. However, when they started completely changing the way it played I didn't like the new directions or changes.Been testing for 2 min already encountered gun firing sound loop and both A and D were stuck moving left shortly after a target appeared, Even tho the binding options said they were correctly bound..

That's the lovely part about alpha testing.

Been playing the alpha since it was available to the deluxe per-orders. I can and will vouch for this game being stunning when it's running the way it should - and thankfully that's more often than not with this patch.

Yeah I pre-ordered the deluxe version as well and I was playing the alpha for a while at first, but it was really buggy at the beginning so I couldn't motivate myself to play it for a longer time.
Might give it another try now.

I heard this was good but also extremely buggy and resource intensive.
Holy fuck jetpacks.

Yes.
Many, Many jetpacks and sentry turrets.
Loving the game so far, but when you end up in a stalemate because both sides have spammed defensive buildings and everyone's too afraid to push it's kind of a pain.
That and I wish there was a tutorial for the commander role.
Otherwise amazing game.

Well, I kind of feel obligated to be helping out in the beta. I helped before the game went public back in October before the HL1 Mod got its first release.
And yes, this game is very buggy and resource intensive. But think about it, these guys are making a AAA quality retail game with a team of around five guys. They put out a patch/new features just about every week or every other week. All of the GORGEOUS modeling is done by one guy, all of the textures another.. not to mention the entire engine was built from scratch by their own team.
It's very impressive as it stands.

The reason I state it is because I don't think I could run it an acceptable framerate.
I already get that problem with Red Orchestra 2 and Starcraft 2. This game looks even more resource intensive. I believe it uses dynamic lighting for everything, I remember watching video about it. It looks gorgeous.

It's true, felt like it was not optimized that well, might have been just lag though.
