I'm a little disappointed about the way they've gone with Sonic, but I suppose I have a more traditional Sonic in mind. I would have liked to see this as a Sonic and Tails, similar to the Ice Climbers. In Sonic 2, Tails acts almost exactly like the pink Ice Climber does.

Instead of the spring, Tails would grab Sonic and fly a short distance.

That's a horrible idea. The only purpose for Tails in any game is as helicopter rotors. Just have Tails appear for his save move.

The problem is Sonic. What to do... I suppose if we're going to all this trouble, perhaps we should make him playable.

I'd like it if tails was a separate character, but that's because I love the idea of there being a HUGE selection. Like, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 in terms of how many...

The fact that they have added Diddy and Sonic makes me very very happy, though I want more! I'm still holding my breath for a Banjo-Kazooie character... Melee made me happy with all of its options, even though alot of them were pretty much the same. It's just the fact that you are able to play with the people you want to play with (like being able to choose Ganondorf, that was badass). IGN has a very neat list of characters they'd like to see, and I would also.

Oh, and I read somewhere that some characters from Melee are being taken out... just because they played the same as another.. makes me sad =( If they're there already, leave'em! Gimme like 8 pages of characters to pick from!

This game will be 100% incredible either way.
