gnome achievement episode two

i found him and I'm about to take him through to the end where I will launch him into space......so i was wondering what do you do when you have to take the car somewhere????!! won't he just fall out LOL

You can put him inside the car, he wont go through, he clips with it. try to put him behind the seats. He will fall out alot but it will work.

speaking of the achievements, I'm curious as to how many other people got the "payback" achievement (kill a hunter with it's own flechettes) I got it completely by accident, I had picked up a tire because I was out of explodey things to throw at the hunters, and I gues it must have got hit because as soon as it hit the hunter he started doing the whole "floaty dissolvy thingy" (think secondary AR2 fire) and I was like "what the fuck just happened!?" so yeah, anyone else?

oh man i hope he doesn't get lost....LOLz in the very beginning of the game after the hunter knocks alex out i carried him to the elevator that's half out of the ground, dropped him and he fell into the darkness below..."NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" lol but i just reloaded the checkpoint

I assume you need sv_cheats 1 to do this, if so, it won't work. Achievements are void once that's been turned on.

Some flechettes must have stuck in the tire, then exploded as you hit the hunter. That's how I got it anyway. (except I used a radiator instead)

Yes, average time seems to be 5-6 hours (5.2 for me).

I was just confirming what you said was correct. Or, I was half asleep and forgot you'd said that before replying... one of the two.

I knew how to kill with their own flechettes because I saw it in a video a while back. Didn't know there was an achievement for it until after I got it though. So the achievement was accidental but the kill wasn't.

What's with this ragdoll guy you're dragging through the levels? Also, why are you stuffing a poor, defensless gnome into a car? If that car flies into space, won't the gnome die? WHY!?

after u get out the train, go through a tunnel or two (very short) and you get to this first observation/communication tower where you talk to doc. kliner on a vid cam,etc....the gnome is under the bed next to the door that you exit from.

Bleh, it's the first significant building you and Alyx go to, I forgot what I did in there so... It was useful for me.. but I guess finishing the game it seemed a bit more specific to me...

OR

You could have found it on your own.
