Oblivion glitch? Someone help please.

So I'm playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion on the 360 and have encountered a bug, or so it seems. I am currently fullfilling the Thieves guild missions called The Iron Maiden or something like that. I had to steal a bust head from a gravesite and plant it on someone else. I than had to tell the main cop guy lex to find the head and send someone to jail, someone who was actually spying on the guild. Afterwards, I am supposed to wait for Armande Christophe at the spot where I usually meet him and talk to him. I have to wait until midnight.

Now here is the problem, when I go there at midnight to meet him, he doesn't show up! The arrow points towards where he is supposed to be, and the arrow is green. Yet he isn't there. I have waited until the next day, and the next, and he still isn't there. So what the hell?

Is this a glitch, is there something else I'm supposed to do. As far as I know, I can't get farther in the guild now because of this.

mmmm I played oblivion a long time ago so I can't exactly remember...but I DO remember that in that game when you kill someone even an important character they stay dead....do you ever remember killing him? lol probably not so yeah I have no idea.

I didn't kill him. And you actually CAN'T kill important characters. They just faint and come back a few moments later =P So no, not the problem.

Depends, characters vital to main quests cannot be killed. They're only knocked out.

Its been a long time for me so I don't remember (even though i did that quest). If it was on the PC I'd suggest using the console command to bring him to you because it could be broke.

Pretty sure I didn't. I did everything and it says "I have to wait until midnight to speak to him" And he's never there, but the arrow is pointing at the spot he is supposed to be.

Sorry, I'd rather have the money to buy something now and not need to upgrade than to buy something and NOT have the money to upgrade, so I'm left with games I can't play.

thats a strange situation, may i ask how much you have fenced for the Indipendant Thieves Quest? because if you go to far over the amount they ask for, it can stop the Thieves Guild quests all together, its a nasty glitch which got me when i stole a shit load. nowi am waiting for a mesage that never comes, it can also happen on the other Thieves Missions.

it is the mac daddy of Obliv sites, and if u find ur quest in the list, it should tell u the list of possible glitchs, thats where i learned i was screwed.

Wow, thanks alot Punisher =] Best respond I've heard all together. I have only fenced 101 gold, but I do believe this could be the problem. I guess since this is the end of the thieves guild for me, I'm gonna just make another game and only do the thieves guild so I can get the achievements for it and continue to get the rest on my regular game.

HIGH FIVE Xerosnake! Ive had that problem with the thieves guild soooo many times. Presently I cant talk to the Grey Fox for the last mission. And that situation you had has happen LOTS of times, where Armand is never there.

exactly what i had to do, its horible not being able to get them done with my main guy, but hey life goes on, and while i am at it i should tell u about another way i got screwed on the game, i got the Azruas light (re-useable soul gem) and i didnt kno what it did at the time and sold it, then miles later i heard about a re-useable soul gem when i was running out of normal ones and found it was long gone. . . . so dont do that. i just got the New 360 one with the expansion packs in, guna start on the Shiv Isles soon :D

Shit, so it seems it's a universal problem. lol. My friend finished the guild, I'm sure I could too one way or another. Just have to start over like I said... oh well. I won't sell the soul gem once I get it, I'm getting the skeleton key right now.

didn't happen to me, but it DID happen to my friend....the glitch that happened with me, was (if you've boughten this house) in the town at the top left of the map, it's haunted and everytime you go in it ghosts attack you...well in teh strat guide it says you go talk to the guy who sold it to you, so i did...he says he'l meet you in the big center town (sry don't remember names) so I finallly find him, & the strat guide says u have to persuade him for a bit, then he tells you how to get rid of em/gives you some key,etc....but I paid him money and persuaded him the normal way all the way up and he never said anything, then I tried to find him again an he was never there...I didn't care about the ghosts, it was the secret basement room in the house that had cool stuff I wanted...

I bought that house too. You have to collect an item that fell from a vase and meet him I guess. I was pissed when I found out I got jipped, sonofa bitch. Gotta finish the quest for that someday.

This is common, one of the solutions is to wait 24-48 + hours, so the jails are reset, so it can come back normally to the meeting place..

I know this is about Oblivion, but I havent played it yet cause I still havent beaten Elder Scrolls, with all three expansions. So I havent opened my Oblivion till I beat it.

Where can I find the damn weapons to kill Dagoth Ur and how do I get them?

Cause I dont know where to go, or what quest/person to go to. I'm lost...... and pissed. It got to the point where I resorted to killing innocent children and people countless of times cause of how frustrated I got. So i really need help.

Can anyone tell me the name/where/how to get the weapons and such to kill Dagoth Ur so I can move on to Oblivion?
