This happend to me on the XBOX so im posting this here.

I Joined a random public match on expert and it put me on death toll. A little after another person joined and started Team killing, after we managed to kill him, I called a vote to kick him. A minute later I got a message from the guy with an IP adress in it. I went on my computer, and it turned out that it was my IP. I blocked communications, filed a complaint and avoided him afterwards. Should I be worried?

Wow thats a new one for sure. I would save the message and contact M$ and let them know. You cant be too safe with assholes out there these days.

You can't really do much with an IP address (Since you can just get a new one easy) besides Telnet bombs (Which can be blocked. Needs a lot of people to be effective anyways).

Getting your IP isn't that hard, the person that got yours was just trying to scare you by showing off his "1337 h4x0r skeelz".

Haha, you know what would be funny? After he sends that to you, you send a message back saying his social security number.

Seriously though, it's pretty easy to find someones IP.

No, don't worry. If anything, just call the cops for privacy violation, lol.
