The old characters?

Ok. So i was searching a little on youtube and so i found this one:

And so i just began to think how much im actualy are going to miss the old characters in l4d 2. No louis to say pills.
No francis to call for hes mom ore say he hate everything.

Am i the only 1 there think on that?

I'm pretty sure everyone does, but when you play thorught with the new ones you will eventually like them just as much if not more.

I don't recall seeing any of the L4D survivors in that video..

But yea I will probably miss the old ones a bit, but Faliszek(I think) said that they haven't put the old survivors to rest yet, so theres still hope :D

Not to mention I'm beginning to like the new ones some already

Given that it's pretty much the same game I am guessing it would take fairly minimal work to either just copy the models across or recompile them into L4D2, and probably most of the sounds could be copied too.

I agree, I'm starting to see allot of potential in the new characters. If they come out and you still hate them, attitude wise instead of just their character models, then thats understandable. :p

Yeah if you were here for the model change for the first L4D, you would have seen the huge shitstorm that resulted. But, guess what? Everyone likes them now :P

The new characters are growing on me. I like Nick the best, because he reminds me of Ty Burrel's Character in Dawn of the Dead (2004). I hope that they share the same attitude :D

Anyway, I think the new chars will grow on everyone once we get to actually "meet" them. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing what gems valve manage to make for the characters. However, am I not the only one who thinks that rochelle will be irritating as hell? I mean, I know they're still in development, but still...
