Will you use the new items in L4D2? I'm talking about the ammo packs and adrenaline featured in the Swamp Fever campaign.

I'll will use them, though it would depend on the situation.

I'll use them, adrenaline packs will be good for gauntlets, though I might keep a health kit over extra ammo, if I run out of ammo I'll just use a melee weapon :D

I'll probably keep the health pack over the extra ammo, but the adrenaline packs seem like a good sidegrade to peelz.

If there's one lying on the ground when you run out of ammo.

I don't like them...but at the same time I'm not going to say I won't use them because I will just to see what they are like. But as a personal taste...i do not like them whatsoever

Health pack over ammo, it would suck to die with ammo but it wouldn't really be as sucky to die out of ammo.

I heard you could have both Ammo and Health Kits? Also Adren/ Pills? Maybe? I don't know.

It depends on the situation and if we have said supplies or not, but if we are in a versus game, and it's a gauntlet, I'll take those pills. But If a campaign on expert, I'll take the adrenaline with a pipe bomb combo. Throw the pipebomb first, take the adrenaline so you won't be slowed down by those commons.

[A bump to raise above troll crap]

I cant wait to use the adrenaline

I think you'll only want to use that in a last ditch effort, because you pop it too early, and it might be like the scout's energy drink- "Bonk!"

I can see so many new leroy jenkins movies being made for L4D2.

i'd rather have health packs because i think you can survive without ammo, well, untill you find a safe house. well we could always akimbo, cant do that while you're dead.

Maybe they'll be reducing the amount of ammo you can hold/get to make an ammo-pack more desirable. (Or like someone said, maybe there's just more infected.)

in the gamespy article they said the zombie density was going to be way higher than l4d raising the kill count from 1000 to 2000 so i'm guessing we are going akimbo a lot or ammo packing.

Wow I always did like using dual pistols.

In my opinion these new choices are a step forward in the Left 4 Dead world, unlike fiddles and axe cr0wnings.

Axe crowning was just a small feature of the axe, I don't think it was advertised as revolutionising L4D.

Just like everything else in this game I think it will be very situational whether you pick up pills or adrenaline. You can't go into a game like this thinking, 'Okay, I am only using pills and the ammo packs this game. Not the other two.' It just doesn't work that way I am afraid.

Adrenaline sounds pretty useful.

What I don't see any use for is ammo packs, unless they removed ammo from everywhere.

Yes i know, but you will see if you search my posts that I have created topics about how mad I am for both of tose things, so I am just making a reference to them. For people that have read them. :D

Yeah. My main combo is a health kit and adrenaline but if one of my slots is open I'll take it.

I hope you can mix and match. For example: Having extra ammo and a Health kit as opposed to having the extra ammo taking up the health kit slot completely. You should also have the option to double up if multiples are available.

That would make the game too easy, and it's easy enough for survivors already.

Thats true, but if they did they should balance it out.

According to this site: http://www.zombicidal.com/l4d2/ (Scroll down to supplies section or just read the quote below) it also restores 25 Health.

"Taking adrenaline gives the Survivor 25 temporary HP and a boost that allows him to melee bash without fatigue and to avoid being slowed down by Common Infected attacks. Adrenaline also appears to change players’ vision when taken, blurring the edges of the screen."

Okay, NOW it sounds over balanced!:eek:

With more bullets. . . I won't need to worry about health, they only get close to me when I'm low on ammo or there's a tank and I decide to fight it with pistols not to waste the assault rifle
