Holding Up?

So, I remember when we first got news of left4Deads release being in early 208' and the shock for some members. I myself was bewildered.

However since Senior Year began (High School) time has just flied by. It's the last six weeks of 1st semester, and Christmas is right around the corner. Mario Galaxies, Mass Effect, and \assassins creed is coming out and we already have Halo 3, Orange Box, and Bioshock in our greedy hands.

The hardest part of the wait will be the month or so before its released. I'll probably faint at the menu screen.

Yah, I'm not too worried and I think that part of the delay may have something to do with the eight or so huge shooter titles coming up in this last quarter. Gives them a chance to brush up on things and then come out during a quieter time.

Call of Duty 4 should hold me over... other than that the years going by pretty easy, not fast, but easy.

To be honest, this year has been very poor for decent releases, up until the time Bioshock came out. Bought Jericho on Friday (mainly on strength of Clive Barker's name being attached to it. Still have fond memories of Undying, and the guy has written some of the most screwed up horror I think I've read).

But, however, the last couple of months of 07 look like being pretty damned juicy - Hellgate, CoD4, Mass Effect, AITD 5, Perseus Mandate (FEAR expansion), Painkiller - Overdose, Kane & Lynch. Might also give The Witcher a blast if I get round to it too. Then in early 08 we have ALan Wake, RE:5 & of course L4D - *does happy dance*!!!

How is Jericho? I really liked the demo, but I was pretty certain that was going to be the whole game.

I liked the loading screen for the first campaign better.

It was a wide view of the top of the hospital, I'm pretty sure you can see it in my footage.

I'll have CoD:4 and Crysis to hold me over, not to mention Halo 3, The Orange Box, and all my other Steam games. Argh I really can not wait. It will be so great, the first time I join a server. Better yet, all the people will have never played it so we won't even make it to the first checkpoints. Heh heh.
