Whos forcing their Friends to buy the game?

My friends are skeptical about the game: They know how I am about zombies. So I may be forced to make them buy it.

One time I told someone a long narration about the game, and he asked "What will you do if the games not good?"

This game is one that needs to be played to fully understand (thus their current marketing system). I have complete faith that your friends will play after playing it at your house. You just have to do your job and convert them.

It's actually quite odd, most of the people who's gaming revolves around the Xbox 360 don't have a clue what it is... and frankly, it's hard to convince them to buy a game that doesn't start with Halo, or is otherwise a popular mainstream game. (For the 360)

I mean, even with TF2, once my friend tried it he instantly thought the MP was better than Halo 3's. (Who he is a big fan of) and the other friend, who also, mainly plays Halo 3, but hasn't tried it won't even give it a second thought.

That being said, I don't think I want to convince anyone to buy it... the general trend where I am is that if you're convinced to buy it (I've dropped the name a couple times) you're going to buy it for the 360 cuz your PC sucks, and in that case I won't be able to play with them anyway =O

Do you think, it will be possible to play a LAN game of L4D with only one copy of the game? I've done that once with Half-Life 1, by using my Steam account on different PCs (in offline mode) ... If so, the coop experience should be convincing enough to get some people to buy it. ;)
