Now I really don't have anything against our colonial cousins the other side of the pond but this is just too much.........
'Spaced', the perfect sitcom that was made by the folks behind 'Shaun Of The Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' is to be remade in the US. Now, if that doesn't boggle the mind (and bearing in mind that the Yankeefied version of The Office actually works) this is really gonna twist your noodle:
It's gonna be produced by McG (producer of the OC, director of Charlies Angels 1 & 2) and written by one of the writers of Will & Grace!!!!!!!
Oh god the horror!!!!!!
Catch the original 'Spaced' series on You Tube!!!!!!!

Bury it.
Don't panic overmuch. Has anyone seen "Supernatural"? I love it. Watching Season 3 atm (Tuesday at 7pm on Space channel). McG produces and it's hella good. He's far better suited to the television medium, for some reason ...
The Will & Grace thing, I can't comment on. The show ran for like 9 years, so someone must have liked it.

It's just I know they'll try and sex it up!
For those who haven't seen Spaced ................................... IT IS NOT SEXY IN THE TRADITIONAL SENSE!!!!
It's geeky sexy, movie nerd sexy, but not Alba sexy. Unless Marsha floats your boat!
"Hhhhhhulloo Brian" ............ "Good legs"

ITS NOT FINISHED............ITS FINISHED!
That guy was really weird. I fell in love with Spaced when I watched the first few episodes. Jessica Stevenson and Simon Pegg are absolutely perfect in the way they play these two roommates. They are great friends in real life, like Pegg and Frost, and that is gonna be damn near impossible to recreate with some perfect american idiots. I love british comedy so very much, I live in Canada not Britain, and they just have this genuine, unique sense of humour that the rest of the world doesn't have. Do you guys know Edgar Wright wasn't even called or contacted about the remake? They basically just said this was his show, but he'll have nothing to do with it other than that. I hope this show doesn't make it or by the looks of things it flops because no one wants to watch it. LONG LIVE MONTY PYTHON

No offence there Deek, but Spaced and Supernatural are so far apart you could lose Manhattan in the hole!!!
Also, with the exception of The Office, most, if not all of the US remakes of UK sitcoms fall flat. Coupling, whilst not the greatest sitcom here in the UK, absolutley stank to high heaven when the US remake plopped out.
And the least said about the 3 (or was it 4) failed attempts at remaking Red Dwarf in the US the better. One of them even had Terry Farrell (Jadiza 'Grrr' Dax in DS9) playing Rimmer!!!!!!!!!
