You will notice that the pockets in the waffle trap the syrup, thus giving you more awesome syrup flavor in each bite. Waffles also don't get all soggy as quickly, giving you more time to enjoy it.

I see syrup on the butter, and some on the plate, but wasn't it meant for the pancakes?! That bottom pancake is going to be all soggy and saturated once you get to he bottom, you might as well have put it in a bowl of syrup for 10 minutes and then ate it with a spoon.



They are made of the same thing, but one has more advantages....
