In My Honest Opinion Mega 64 aren't really funny, they are just Trolls IRL. I may just be saying this because their Brand of humor isn't funny or I just don't like them either way they aren't that funny at all.

Actually, of the two I find trolling IRL much better.

It takes bawls to do what they do, whereas internet trolling is the easiest thing in the world. (There are a limited number of truly classy internet trolls.)

I find their humor hilarious because it's an inside joke. If you knew the video game they were spoofing, you'd be in on it, but most of the people watching them have no idea why they're doing it.

Guitar Hero is just engine updates, skin changes, and new music every year... very much milking.

L4D2... well... you can take it both ways, good or bad. I just won't say anything to make people sad.

L4D2 may be a good sequel, the point is it's pretty much exactly the same. If anything MW2 has changed less than L4D2.

Teehee, I think the change is about the same.

Game engine updates, new weapons, new environments, new modes...

I'm looking forward to left 4 dead 2 but with these guys you have to have abit of an open mind for their jokes, they've taken the piss out of Dead Rising, Shenmue, Hitman,Ico some of my favourite games but I still found it funny to watch because it's like an inside joke and the random people watching them just won't get it. I mean Valve have done FPS games every single time, counter strike was a mod, left 4 dead was originally a mod, you gotta wonder besides half life do they actually create any fresh stuff or just take it from mods. I find it funny for that reason, because yes again left 4 dead 2 is the same game but now with a bigger emphasis on melee and anti-camping. But I'm still looking forward to the game.

I think they're missing the point that a sequel is supposed to be similar to the game and a good sequel is supposed to improve on the faults or shortcomings of the original (or in the case of the guitar heroes and whatnot, more content to master and features).

I don't see anyone bitching at Mass Effect 2 coming out, yet thats the "same ol' shit"

Maybe it's failing miserably at being funny for you! As you can see on this thread and on youtube, there are a lot of people who liked it and think it's funny, so it definitely isn't failing at all!

Why defending it? Well maybe because some people just don't get the joke and think that they only try to mock valve! In my eyes they just mock at the differences in some communities, like everyone's bashing about anything and no one is 100% happy!
