Ahh, i would like to know if anyone in this forum is in the medical field, or plan to be in the medical field.

I'm a neurologist, currently jobless, and playing video games to pass my useless time.
I start working in September though :D

I worked as a lifeguard for a few months and am certified in CPR/AED (although a retarded monkey can use an AED) First Aid and Lifeguarding. Don't plan on going into the medical field though

I had an appendectomy last Thanksgiving; it was good fun.

I've got 3 scars: one under my bellybutton where the camera went, and 2 in random other places around my stomach where the 2 rods went in that they used to pick and cut, etc.

Might wanna fix that typo on your profile then. Either way 27 and a brain surgeon? Assuming you graduate high school at 18, you need a bachelor's in pre-med which takes 4 years. So that's 22. Then you need to graduate medical school, for arguments sake let's say that only takes 4 years. Now that's 26. Aspiring brain surgeons don't hop into surgery right away, first they need an internship ranging from 5 to 7 years. Assuming you are a genius we'll just say 4 years. Now we're up to 30 years of age starting your field as a brain surgeon. Also, patients in brain surgery are awake and sitting up, not lying down.

I wouldn't mind being some kind of doctor, but I have a little problem. I can handle my own blood but when people start showing me their injuries I get a little grossed out.

Ahh, i would like to know if anyone in this forum is in the medical field, or plan to be in the medical field.

I'm a neurologist, currently jobless, and playing video games to pass my useless time.
I start working in September though :D
