I hope you're not doing the writing. I would hate to see a project like this have lazy-porno-comic grammar like yours.
Also, at this point if you're amateurs, I don't think you should be selling this comic, for the simple realization that no one is buying.
Also, before you think that it's such a good idea, actually prove to people that you can draw. Most fans aren't gonna want poorly drawn stick-people. If anything, they're gonna want realistic drawings, good story, and flawless attention to detail. If you can't measure up to a comic that is already on store shelves, I suggest you go to your nearest bookstore, load up on comics and try and get a good art direction.
I know I'm being awfully critical, but at this point you probably need it. My guess is that you had this great idea, and then once it gets into full swing, you're going to back down on the project. It's not the first time this has happened (See Duke Nukem Forever). Hell, it's even happened to me. Just remain completely dedicated to this, prove your worth, and then I might back up the project.
Until then, just try your hand at drawing and see your friends hand at drawing. You can't sell something unless someone's buying, and no one is going to buy a half-assed fanboy comic unless it's actually good. Post both drawings and then we'll talk.

Well first ask valve for permission to do it if your going to sell it.
Because thats illeagel and you will be in jail.

ApeX - I'm a cartoonist myself mate, I put my work on the internet to get free critique and just to show what I can do. No-one will steal your work. It's not like I'm suggesting you should post a whole comic strip, just a sample of what you can do would be awesome.

Yes, I do think that I'm something special.
Getting back on topic, all I was suggesting you should do is draw a character or something and post it. I wasn't degrading on your work, I was just wondering what your art style would look like, and to judge if it is good enough to make a comic out of. VALVe would do the same thing.
Second of all, I hope you do realize how hard it is to get a copyright. VALVe might sell the license to Todd McFarlane, but I don't think that they'll give it to a person with poor grammar and not a thing under his(?) belt.

i appologize ...ive had allot of folks talk shit and just say my work is crap before they even see what im cappable of ya kno ...and futher more i do kno how to spell,write, and type i kno my grammer very well i type like that cause its shorter and it takes less time trust me if i writing a page i dont type like that.....and thank yall for ur criticism....at least ur being honest

One thing is to make L4D comic just to entertain yo friends in school or whatever and second thing is to make comic for people and sell it.
Left 4 Dead is (C) By VALVe. If you want to sell L4D comic you will most probably have to buy rights (if they're gonna to sell it. They can say "No" and you're srewed). And that would be too expensive for some guys doing comics for fun.
If you want to do it without VALVe permission you are a criminal and you are doing a illegal thing.

An upcoming comic book will tell what happened to the Left 4 Dead Survivors after they got rescued by the military, and an upcoming DLC will show what happened to them after the events of the comic book

This is clearly not going to happen if the OP is expecting to get money out of this. Valve would only ever sell the comic rights to an incredibly popular franchise if the people buying were professional illustrators and writers with extensive experience.
Sorry Apex, but you simply can't do this if you're planning to copyright/sell. You'll just get a Cease and Desist.
